Was watching one of those sort of horridly-fascinating shows last night on TV that is about hoarders, except this one is about pet hoarders. They visited a couple's house who had 24 cats. The vet who was talking to the couple and she went into the room where the catboxes were, and commented on the smell, and she had handheld meter that she set down on the floor. It measured ammonia in the air.
So.... my husband's parents are hoarders and I've never been to their house but our daughter has. She's 3 years old. We have a little boy on the way and I just don't know if I want my kids going over there especially if I'm not allowed to.. Idk how bad the situation is and I know my husband is embarrassed. I've never talked to my in laws about it. They make me uncomfortable as is. I have been distant from them for the last couple months.

Lol my daughter watches TV now at almost 5 months! She watches bubble guppies and the Disney Channel shows. It's the only thing that stops her from crying sometimes!!
My mom's ex had hearing problems and he always had the tv loud because he "didn't like to wear the hearing aid" so his tv's and raidios were always loud. Now I notice she is having a hard time hearing the tv and she is turning it up louder and louder. Can being around a person who is hard of hearing cause hearing damage?
Hello, my son is almost 5, he has autism and in the last tree weeks he has been scare of watching TV, he is scare of the dark, don'k like to be alone, he looks out the window, and likes to close the door in the bedroom.
Did anyone happen to catch the TV special a couple days ago. The documentary of her life as it is now. I caught part of it, and what I saw was actually and amazing. I can barely take care of a cat let alone ..what? 14 kids?...I forget, but considering, I think she is doing an amazing job, and I wouldn't have guessed it if I hadn't seen it. Now some of you could say the she was puttin on for the camera.......Uh, no way could that be possible.
But me I would just go to a family members and stay there for a bit. Hoarders have a weird attachment to their items.
