Was watching one of those sort of horridly-fascinating shows last night on TV that is about hoarders, except this one is about pet hoarders. They visited a couple's house who had 24 cats. The vet who was talking to the couple and she went into the room where the catboxes were, and commented on the smell, and she had handheld meter that she set down on the floor. It measured ammonia in the air.
So.... my husband's parents are hoarders and I've never been to their house but our daughter has. She's 3 years old. We have a little boy on the way and I just don't know if I want my kids going over there especially if I'm not allowed to.. Idk how bad the situation is and I know my husband is embarrassed. I've never talked to my in laws about it. They make me uncomfortable as is. I have been distant from them for the last couple months.
You would think so right? I wish it worked that way, instead it feels like every cootie my husband and daughter bring home makes me super sick. I keep joking that I'm going to start spraying them with lysol when they get home - but they aren't as amused by that idea. I just keep trying to wash hands as much as I can.
Before this pregnancy I used to keep a very very clean house. Like, show room model home clean. And literally I swear the day of conception the lazy a s s switch turned on because i can't think of anything less enticing than sweeping or picking up. Anyone else experienced this? I need to figure something out because I used to be so tidy and I'm only in my 1 trimester and if it keeps going in like this I'm gonna be on the next episode of hoarders!
Lol. Last night hubby and I went on the Hospital Maternity Floor Tour with about 12 other couples. The tour guide (nicest lady in the world) asked how many baby girls she had coming and only one mommy raised her hand. Everyone broke out in laughter cause she made this hilarious joke about how the boys are taking over this season. I'm due Oct.
No groups have been suggested to me or offered. I feel out in left field all alone. Are there any hoarders in this company, and what are they doing to deal with it?
But me I would just go to a family members and stay there for a bit. Hoarders have a weird attachment to their items.

for 2 years everything seemed to stabilize and feel good without any surgery. 1 month ago (right at the end of ski season) my knee began catching... couldn't bend it all the way without pain.. even had pain at night when I bent it in my sleep. Now that I haven't skied in a month the knee is much less painful but still has problems bending all the way and still likes to clunk and have pain if torqued at all.
I'm due in 30 days with aboy a lot of people are having girls I wanted a girl at first but after my baby shower all the cute boy stuff we got and decorated I'm so happy I'm having a boy
