Aww thanks Julie. I do great as long as I'm busy at work. Now I need to figure out how to be peaceful and happy when I'm Hm All day. That's my next challenge. Lol. Maybe I will Make a list and start hacking away at my projects around the house. (hoarders). Maybe I should call them.

Was watching one of those sort of horridly-fascinating shows last night on TV that is about hoarders, except this one is about pet hoarders. They visited a couple's house who had 24 cats. The vet who was talking to the couple and she went into the room where the catboxes were, and commented on the smell, and she had handheld meter that she set down on the floor. It measured ammonia in the air.

Anyone know how Julie is doing? We have similar cancers and I have not seen her on the forum for a long time. Any info would be appreciated. I don't like losing track of our ovca sisters.

So.... my husband's parents are hoarders and I've never been to their house but our daughter has. She's 3 years old. We have a little boy on the way and I just don't know if I want my kids going over there especially if I'm not allowed to.. Idk how bad the situation is and I know my husband is embarrassed. I've never talked to my in laws about it. They make me uncomfortable as is. I have been distant from them for the last couple months.

I spoke with Julie this evening and she expressed her gratitude for the get well wishes and kind words. While there, they discovered she has left lower lobe pneumonia. She said it's because I talked to her because that's where mine is and I transmitted it via the phone line,lol. At least her sense of humor is still there. Her voice sounded stronger today though she remains very weak. After the pneumonia is taken care of, she will go to rehab until she is strong enough to go home alone.

She has 26 animals 11 outside big unfriendly dogs that only she can interact with which is ok, 6 inside little dogs and 6 or7 inside cats now she lives in older 2 bedrroom 2 bath trailer which is fine but once you walk in door all you smell is cat pi$$ awful and her house is a plum mess something you would see on tv hoarders that bad. She loves her animals and takes care them but not house.

But me I would just go to a family members and stay there for a bit. Hoarders have a weird attachment to their items.

To those of you who asked me what kind of anesthesia they gave Julie for the mass under her tongue... I am reading from the receipt from the Vet. It says, Sevoflurane Gas Anesthesia No-one wanted to do surgery on her because of her compromised immune system, & all of the diseases that she has. Until, I used this Vet. Julie came thru it amazingly. It's used in Hospitals on Infants & children....Now, on dogs too. I hope this is of help to many of you.

I just got off the phone with Julie. She is in the hospital again! The viral infection she had kicked off another relapse and she is now on Day 2 of IVSM. Her major symptom is her right leg...it is numb from the thigh down. The doctors plan to discharge her on Friday but she is negotiating for an earlier release. She sounded better yesterday but today she feels the full force of the steroids and is not happy about this new turn of events.

I know exactly how you feel. The only rooms that aren't messy at my place are the bathrooms & the babys room lol! I work full time & when i get home I'm like why bother?.. Hopefully i get a day or two cleaning spurt & get it done!

Julie called me and asked me to relay a message. She is so weak from the steroids i.e. she can't even lift her head off the pillow without help. Her doctor hospitalized her and will give her 2 more days of steroids to help with the relapse and then go from there. She will get her prednisone taper 60 mg, 40 mg, 20 mg that she requested after the IVSM. She has no computer access and said she is so weak she probably couldn't answer any posts anyway. She is sleeping most of the time.

No groups have been suggested to me or offered. I feel out in left field all alone. Are there any hoarders in this company, and what are they doing to deal with it?

So... we finally found a name for our little girl. Julie. But my husband wants the middle name to be Sarah. Does Julie Sarah roll good together. I think it somewhat does with our last name.
