She has 26 animals 11 outside big unfriendly dogs that only she can interact with which is ok, 6 inside little dogs and 6 or7 inside cats now she lives in older 2 bedrroom 2 bath trailer which is fine but once you walk in door all you smell is cat pi$$ awful and her house is a plum mess something you would see on tv hoarders that bad. She loves her animals and takes care them but not house.

s the thing most of the clothes are dry rotted they have insulation in them from being in this walk in closet for so many years it's gross nobody wants them I feel like he is trying to keep mories that should not matter!

Before this pregnancy I used to keep a very very clean house. Like, show room model home clean. And literally I swear the day of conception the lazy a s s switch turned on because i can't think of anything less enticing than sweeping or picking up. Anyone else experienced this? I need to figure something out because I used to be so tidy and I'm only in my 1 trimester and if it keeps going in like this I'm gonna be on the next episode of hoarders!

The problem is about EXPECTATIONS!! We expect too much from our in laws at the time of pregnancy. We want them to care us like our mother n father but we have to remember they are our in laws not our real parents. Our parents gave so much love to us so we expect same from others. So my mother in law (which I don't get along with) thought it was a good idea to take a whole week off work this week. I go in tonight n im glad she wants to help but I do not want her at my house with my first newborn child with us. I want to have family time. The baby isn't even goin to be a week old and she already wants to bombard us. Am I wrong for feeling like this?

Holy cow of course this relationship doesn't feel good. That feeling is your inner voice telling you to leave--so listen! A hoarder experiences a great amount of anxiety when faced with the decision to throw something away. They are usually very sentimental persons, and like to keep everything to hold on the memory. Persons who are slobs are just plain lazy and can't be bothered to clean up or throw anything out. Although I think that a lot of hoarders are slobs in some ways as well.

For years she has had problems keeping anything clean, as in nobody will ride in their vehicles because of the mess, no room for passengers, discarded fast food wrapers. Today I was in her house and I was completey disgusted by what I saw. It's a 3 bedroom house that hadn't been cleaned in years, I couldn't find the floor, it was covered in dirty clothes and garbage that should have been thrown away.
