Sorry, hit post too soon. My Onc sent tissue samples from surgery to be genetically tested. We found out I have 2 gene abnormalities, but only 1 is significant as far as OvCa goes. There is a clinical trial out there...MEK Inhibitor... but it requires lots of time spent at MD Anderson. I simply can't afford the time away from work so he's looking to see if anyone closer to home is doing it. I was just in Houston last week, and although scans are clear, my CA 125 is more than 300.

I have two dogs two cats a snake and two fish tanks. This means I vacuum daily! My house never smells like dig and litter box is scooped everyday, by my 11 yr old son for now. I have a neighbor who had cos called in her by a teacher cause her kid was dirty always. She works for 911 so got it squashed. Her of all ppl should know better!!

"Post contast images demonstate mild marginal enhancemnet within the marrow at this location likely reactive." Can you tell what this means please. The vet who was talking to the couple and she went into the room where the catboxes were, and commented on the smell, and she had handheld meter that she set down on the floor. It measured ammonia in the air. OSHA has limits of something like 25 ppm for people working in industry, apparently over that amount of ammonia in the air is bad for the lungs. As they were talking, the meter went over 25, then over 40, then over 60, then I think it stopped in the 70s or 80s.

Hello, My 15 y.o. daughter was diagnosed with Crohn's disease in April and has been on prednisone ever since. It's been a long 7 months of trying to help her get stable. Finally with the help of a homeopathic doc she is not bleeding and is beginning to heal. However, he discovered a nodule on her thyroid. When tested her tsh is high and t4 is low. She has lost 6 pounds in 4 weeks yet has no other symptoms. Does anyone know if there is a relationship between prednisone and thyroid?

So.... my husband's parents are hoarders and I've never been to their house but our daughter has. She's 3 years old. We have a little boy on the way and I just don't know if I want my kids going over there especially if I'm not allowed to.. Idk how bad the situation is and I know my husband is embarrassed. I was on a cell phone and she is sucking oxygen so it was hard to hear and I didn't want to keep asking you to repeat yourself because you were starting to sound winded. Sorry, I won't talk about you like you are not here. Anyhow, they still think it is Pulmonary Hypertension and it can be treated with, of all things, Viagra.

Please go in and click "edit" to add your name, and the folks with whom you keep in contact. These should be people you know will post on your behalf. I have heard of people using vinegar and they say it really helps them. I have never tried it because I do not like vinegar. Although, I have heard of people using cinnamon also.

Gail, thank you for all of your help and thoughtful responses. My doctor doesn't seem worried about the "35" but has ordered an ultrasound anyway to look at fibroids. We will see what that shows. Bless you!

Oh Gail, that is glorious news. My onc uses that 20 thing too, but fooey, yours came down a LOT & it seems headed in the right direction. I am just so tickled for you. You always look "mahvelous dahling", but I must say you looked so much better this last weekend than the time before that. Of course not having oxygen tanks helps and being able to breathe always improves your looks, mood and general health.

She has 26 animals 11 outside big unfriendly dogs that only she can interact with which is ok, 6 inside little dogs and 6 or7 inside cats now she lives in older 2 bedrroom 2 bath trailer which is fine but once you walk in door all you smell is cat pi$$ awful and her house is a plum mess something you would see on tv hoarders that bad. She loves her animals and takes care them but not house.

She's been posting on Facebook. I will send her a message and ask her to come here and give an update. I kind of feel like I'm talking behind her back if I posted her news without her knowledge.
