Gail, my old friend, I see you posting, how are you? How have you been? I just don't see too many of the "old gang" on here for many reasons. Good to see you post.

Was watching one of those sort of horridly-fascinating shows last night on TV that is about hoarders, except this one is about pet hoarders. They visited a couple's house who had 24 cats. The vet who was talking to the couple and she went into the room where the catboxes were, and commented on the smell, and she had handheld meter that she set down on the floor. It measured ammonia in the air.

Thanks Gail...I was wondering how she was. I'm hoping everything turns out to be just fine for her...

So.... my husband's parents are hoarders and I've never been to their house but our daughter has. She's 3 years old. We have a little boy on the way and I just don't know if I want my kids going over there especially if I'm not allowed to.. Idk how bad the situation is and I know my husband is embarrassed. I've never talked to my in laws about it. They make me uncomfortable as is. I have been distant from them for the last couple months.

Thank you for the time and effort you put forth to provide us an excellent venue Gail. Without volunteers such as yourself, we would not have the awesome community all of us enjoy so much. The Medhelp forum has been immeasurable in it's assistance to me in researching this disease, learning to live with it and meeting ladies in the same boat as me. I don't feel so lonely having all you wonderful gals to talk to on almost a daily basis.

I talked with Gail a little while ago and she sounds good. She got out of the hospital last Wed. and for some unfathomable reason they still don't know what is wrong with her. She is on oxygen so she is kind of under house arrest until they figure it out. She had been waiting to get in to see this heart Dr where she lives, but he has not seemed in any big hurry so she has made an appt with either a heart specialist or heart clinic in Paducah for next Thurs.

It's okay.....we can just Gail know that we are thinking about her today too and that we hope that doctor tomorrow will have answers to exactly what is going on. Thinking of you - always.

Couldn't have chosen a more supportive Co-Leader!

I've been through so many. I went as far as going through over 300+ girl names. I'm frustrated lol. I love kaydence or kaylen. I'm thinking Kaylen Gail Lee ..... Gail was my mothers middle name she passed 5yrs ago.

I just received word from Gail. She's okay, but due to the ice storm and such, she is without telephone and electricity. They were told it will be at least 5 to 7 days before the power is restored. Even the cellular service is sporadic. I will post when I know more.

She has 26 animals 11 outside big unfriendly dogs that only she can interact with which is ok, 6 inside little dogs and 6 or7 inside cats now she lives in older 2 bedrroom 2 bath trailer which is fine but once you walk in door all you smell is cat pi$$ awful and her house is a plum mess something you would see on tv hoarders that bad. She loves her animals and takes care them but not house.

i don't think the lack of the gallbladder has anything to do with the relatively normal bilirubin. Low MELD scores are typical of patients with cirrhosis and NASH. this means that you are doing fairly well thank God.
