Was watching one of those sort of horridly-fascinating shows last night on TV that is about hoarders, except this one is about pet hoarders. They visited a couple's house who had 24 cats. The vet who was talking to the couple and she went into the room where the catboxes were, and commented on the smell, and she had handheld meter that she set down on the floor. It measured ammonia in the air.
I know exactly how you feel. The only rooms that aren't messy at my place are the bathrooms & the babys room lol! I work full time & when i get home I'm like why bother?.. Hopefully i get a day or two cleaning spurt & get it done!
So.... my husband's parents are hoarders and I've never been to their house but our daughter has. She's 3 years old. We have a little boy on the way and I just don't know if I want my kids going over there especially if I'm not allowed to.. Idk how bad the situation is and I know my husband is embarrassed. I've never talked to my in laws about it. They make me uncomfortable as is. I have been distant from them for the last couple months.
Well, the doctors shouldn't just be concluding without testing. They need to be thorough in trying to discover the cause so they can properly diagnose you & treat you.
Have they checked your blood sugar level during one of these episodes to make sure it wasn't too low? I believe you can even get a blood sugar check test yourself over the counter (diabetic section).
On several occasions lately I have had some weird episodes. I will be walking then all of a sudden it feels like pressure builds up behind my eyes and they feel like they are crossing I get dizzy and have trouble walking. When I walk my body will lean to the right side and it feels like I'm going to fall over. I have to grab items to hold myself up. When I look ahead it is almost like looking through a small tube. It will last for several minutes.
For the past 5-10 years I have had increasingly frequent episodes of waking up unable to move any part of my body, I'm "stuck". When my husband assists me with moving my limbs they are not limp they are ridgid. It feels as though all mornings not just when I can't move, as if overnight my muscles have been drawn up like rubberbands. The "stuck" episodes seem to most often after I've only been asleep for a short time like between 5-7 in the morning.
I began to get tingling in my face, arms and legs and brief/ rare episodes of palpitations and I noticed calf cramps happening at night so I stopped it. The tingling was mild an intermittent at the time but has persisted since then. In the last two weeks, it has suddenly escalated to full-body tingling/ buzzing, tinnitis, and heart palpitations multiple times per day with chest tightness that radiates into the front of my neck and a short-of-air feeling.
For the last 3 years I have been experiencing what I call "episodes". When these episodes occur, it feels like I'm on a very bad drug trip. When they are severe, I can't function, and I can barely cope with anything. I have had every test imaginable, including CT scans of my brain. I was told everything was normal. The route that I was told to try was a to depressants. So, I was on Effexor, that never quite worked.
I have been having some episodes. I get dizzy and the nausea kicks in then I go to the restroom (vomitting). Afterwards I'm worn out and have cold sweats. For fear of vomitting and bringing back the horrible nausea and chills I dont eat for the rest of the day only sipping sprite. I dont have health insurance currently and cant afford a trip to the doctors. I was diagnosed with anxiety attacks about a year ago, I was taking effexor 75mg.
So I have been having somewhat frequent episodes where all the sudden I feel light headed/dizzy/close to blacking out. When it happens I feel like I'm having heart palpitations, & shortness of breath. I talked to my OB about it. When these episodes were first happening, I was standing. He said it could be from blood pooling. Makes sense except the night before my appt I had an episode while sitting down. He said maybe it was my sugar was low. I had just eaten.
But me I would just go to a family members and stay there for a bit. Hoarders have a weird attachment to their items.

Just recently my 9 yr old Balanese male has started 'gagging' episodes day/nite ...there are no hairballs coughed-up just 'dry heaves' .... he 'elongates' his body/neck/head when this is occurring ; i have used 'hairball' OTC remedies.

Then I got some disturbing news about my ex employer not wanting to pay me some money he owed me and I got in full stress mode. I went from that jubgle town to Lima and spent one week raged angry, trying to solve the problem sending emails, etc.
After one week and a half the problem got solved but in the meantime I got extremely drunk and smoked like a horse and had a diarrhea problem.
My husband has been having fainting episodes for over 6 months. His symptoms only include losing consciousness-no nausea, dizziness, etc. He has been injured several times due to hitting his head on various objects to the point of receiving stitches for some of them! He's had every test that we know of (& his dr.) & nothing shows up. He has worn a heart monitor, had tilt table test, echos & ultrasound of arteries in neck, just to name a few & still nothing.
Ive noticed for about a month a so that her aggression has come on full force.... its takes very very little to set her off. She gets angry very quick....and gets in this rage to were she tries to hurt me, kicking slapping, throughing things ate me, destroys things, shredding paper, and she says "hate you"
She has a little sister too I do what I can to keep her calm aroud her, she gets aggressive with her too.
I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2000 and now I am a 27 year old college student. About 8 months ago I think I had a strange episode. In dealing with the fibro I have had the occasional tender skin episodes. It feels like I'm bruised as well as sunburned that the best I can describe it. It usually was confined to my back and shoulders and while it was unpleasant to say the least it was tolerable.
No groups have been suggested to me or offered. I feel out in left field all alone. Are there any hoarders in this company, and what are they doing to deal with it?
Sometimes like it was 8 years ago, since I first came to this forum, and mentioned my PVCs and received the nice responses, my episodes of Ectopics have returned, accompanied by my stomach belching, and just awful anxiety....on same meds as 8 years ago...sometimes belching will help, but posture also sets the stage along with a full stomach and stressing too much about a situation....the random nature of these horrid episodes are scary and always will be, disrupting sleep, and activities.....
