I so wish video phones had been more accessible back then because watching those police officers chase that little critter around the dining room, armed with a broom and shoebox was priceless! The police and the trapper I called the next day were all shocked I was catching these animals by myself. I looked around at the empty house and told them that I didn't see anyone else there to do it for me. Bottom line, you're not the only one. This happens all the time where I live.
He is now dragging in a baby possum just about every night. This is the tiniest little possum I have ever seen. maybe 3-4 inches inches long and soooooo cute...:-))~~~
!. Any ideas what I can do with this possum?.....can i re-locate something that small?
2. Is this cat really mentally ill or just lonely. I am about to go insane with this cat. Oh, and he thinks he is a dog too ......on many days.......OIy!

I know exactly how you feel. The only rooms that aren't messy at my place are the bathrooms & the babys room lol! I work full time & when i get home I'm like why bother?.. Hopefully i get a day or two cleaning spurt & get it done!
Hi, I stand corrected. Was watching one of those sort of horridly-fascinating shows last night on TV that is about hoarders, except this one is about pet hoarders. They visited a couple's house who had 24 cats. The vet who was talking to the couple and she went into the room where the catboxes were, and commented on the smell, and she had handheld meter that she set down on the floor. It measured ammonia in the air.
I wouldn't let my kids be in a situation like that. It's dangerous. Who knows what they would get into or find in the piles of stuff. My in laws are borderline hoarders and I'm not ok with my kids over at their house without me or my husband.
okay so my contractions still are not persistent but it does feel as though they are getting more intense....! last night I know I had to wake up about 3 or 4 times because of contractions and I know it's the real thing and not bh because it starts in my stomach my stomach gets tight then it goes around to my back... any ladies have any comments ideas suggestions I'm just ready to get this baby girl out of me and it seems as if she's playing possum help!!!

I tried to take him to the ER during one of the episode but by the time we got there he was fine. While we were in the car he fell asleep immediatly and when i got to the ER and took him out of the car he seemed fine. They checked his sugar right away which came back fine, and did a EKG which was fine. The ER doctor felt as though it had something to do with his brain and contacted our pediatric right away.

But seriously, I would have to say that the answer to your question depends on whether or not there is any evidence of mood cycling before this.
Your family member might want to read up about cyclothymia and hypomania which are milder forms of mood cycling. If you have access to a library I like the book "Why Am I Still Depressed?

There are doggie calmatives - check online for "canine calming aids" or "natural treatment for hyperactivity". www.drsfostersmith.com has two I have used for dogs who get upset during thunderstorms and travel - they've worked. I'm sure there are others.
On a more behavior modification side, there are devices that you can use to alter the behavior over time.
I keep envisioning the cat bringing those possums in and how frustrated the possums must be getting with him! LOL!!!

My 10 year old son started hording things that is to be garbage to me like .chicken bone ,can of soda ,apple core ,food containner ,unfinnished food, He hid them everywhere in our house we always argue with it and he will started to cry .I ask him what are going to do with this but he says nothing but I can't throw them away.I took him to the my doctor and told me to bring him to Psychiatrist I did not bring him to psychiatrist because my son is not crazy he is very playfull.
My daughter was the same way when I was pregnant with her. Anytime daddy was around she just had a jolt of energy and when I went into labor, she waited for him to get to the hospital from work before even trying to come. It was really a trip. Now I'm having a boy and he is the complete opposite cause when daddy's around he plays possum...lol.
