I have had a heat rash on my neck, beside the jawline now for 14 years. I have been to a few Dr's who have said "Its just a heat rash, nothing you can do about it". My question, can a heat rash last for this long? Its been in the same place and has never spread. Its definately gets worse in the heat, it itches like crazy.
I believe it a caused by the baby's neck always being smushed and it gets sweaty from the heat, try to keep her neck dry and it should get better. Used to happen to my son all the time when he was a baby.
So, since about Wednesday I all of a suddenly developed this odd rash on my neck area. I have no food allergies, and never seem to ever be allergice to lotions or perfumes. It doesn't look like a normal heat rash, and if it is then that would be odd for me to get there.
Here are the facts:
1. Started Wednesday (thought it was a new body spray, but haven't used any perfume since)
2. Does not hurt, or itch. If anything, just my right side of my neck hurts when I stretch it to look up

I havent eaten anything that i dont usually eat and i have been rubbing antihistimine cream on it and iv been taking antihistimine tablets to stop the itching but it is still re occuring in a morning could this be a heat rash? i havent changed my washing powder either. It is making me quite worried and would like to no what it is it is only on the inside of my thighs and top of my feet. My partner has not got it and he sleeps in the same bed. Hope u can help.
My daughter is two and woke up over a week ago with puffy skin under one eye. After getting a hive on her cheek I checked her body. She had bright red hives on her neck and down her back. Same on neck and chest. Took her to doctor who thought allergen Ruben in her eye. She has peanut allergy. I was unsure because we didn't have peanuts. Maybe new allergy. Took her to allergist after rash didn't go away for a couple days. She thought she seemed sick.

This looks like dermatitis skin. These symptoms can be due to heat rash or sweat dermatitis. Avoid using any lotions and creams for the meantime. Use a mild cleanser with moisturizing properties like Cetaphil. Also use cotton clothes and change the clothes twice if there is any increased sweating. Try keeping the skin free of sweat as far as possible. If the symptoms still persist then you can apply mild steroid like dermacort.
I'm from California n this 90-100ยค weather is giving me a heat rash it's down my thighs and ice packs help...anyone else get rashes?
for a long time now i have had red spots (or a rash) under my left breast and a little bit under my right breast. the rash is flat with no pus or crusting. it rarely itches and does not hurt. i have larger breasts and usually do not wear a bra unless i am going out to eat, the bar, getting my hair done, etc (i feel more comfortable with out a bra on)... any ideas on what this could be??
I found a red/tender rash under my boob. anybody else get a rash in the 3rd trimester? .....what does labor feel like in the beginning? This is my first pregnancy so I really dont know what to expect. I thought I should expect pain automatically but I have a high pain tolerance and the pain I've felt isnt bad. So far I'm feeling lightning, fatigue nausea cramping from my back into my vagina pressure from my baby pushing down and hot flashes.. am I going into labor or just dilating more?
hives are itchy irregular raise patches of redness and heat can heighten an allergic reaction if your son has been out in the heat when the rash came. it may also be heat rash, but the benedryl and bactine would do him no harm if you give them and they are not what is needed. a cold wash cloth works well on hives and heat rash.
i,m week 7 after exposure and just as im coming to terms with the no risk scenario i develope a rash(like a heat rash,not raised but redness from capilaries under the skin that itches). i have it on sides of neck,across top of chest and on lower arms...its there for half the day then goes...next day back...then goes again...never had this before...is this how the hiv rash works?
I have a rash underneath my right breast. It is a small patch of raised bumps right on my bra line. I want to believe it's just a heat rash but I know that breast rashes can be early signs of IBC so I'm worried! It's slightly burning, hot to the touch and not particularly itchy. It popped up after a long walk in the heat yesterday and hasn't changed much since then though I've been treating it with compresses and cortisone. Please help!
Heat rash looks like a small blisters adn more likely to occur on the neck and upper chest, in the groin, under the breasts, and in elbow creases. Treatment for heat rash is primarily provide a cooler, less humid environment. Keep the affected area dry and avoid using ointments or creams-they keep the skin warm and moist and may make the condition worse. Drinking plenty of fluids and wearing light weight clothing usually help. This condition may go away on its own.
It fits all the descriptions of a heat rash but it has been a week now and they are not on the neck, in the groin, under the breasts, or in elbow creases. Just on my arms and legs! I have tried hydrocortizone but as suspected, it was too moist for the area and made the rash feel worse. I am staying away from the New York City sun, no longer jogging at high noon but there is still no sign of improvement. I just got laid off and I am without medical insurance (can't afford Cobra).
