Avatar f tn There are so many things it could be, starting with heat rash because yes you can get it on your legs, so posting a picture or describing it would help. Also, this article might help. http://walking.about.com/od/medhot/a/legrash.

Avatar n tn Yes, I recently for the first time in my life developed some heat rash areas around my legs where my socks, I believe were too tight. I forgot my sock liners and instead wore my socks that I had on my feet at the time (runner's socks that came up above my ankles), then my wool socks over those. I hiked with my brother on the Manistee River Trail. It wasn't particularly wet or hot, but probably humid.
Avatar f tn I havent eaten anything that i dont usually eat and i have been rubbing antihistimine cream on it and iv been taking antihistimine tablets to stop the itching but it is still re occuring in a morning could this be a heat rash? i havent changed my washing powder either. Avatar f tn it probably is a heat rash or your allegic to the material...don't wear jeans when exericising it causes heat rashes..put some nelsporn on it...
Avatar n tn Most often, heat rash goes away on its own. Severe forms of heat rash may need medical care, but the best way to relieve symptoms is to cool your skin and prevent sweating. Keep the affected area dry. Dusting powder may be used to increase comfort.
Avatar f tn A red rash then appears on my hands, usually between my thumb and forefinger, in March April. This rash eventually spreads to my forearms and lower legs (though it is never as visible on my legs - I just know it's there by the itchiness). The rash on my forearms gets more pronounced (itchier and redder) with the heat and sun. I'm not sure which is aggravating it. Also, the pigmentation on my arm eventually becomes patchy.
Avatar f tn s more of an annoyance than anything, but the skin on my legs is sensitive to heat. This causes redness on my legs when exposed to heat, and it creates a rash like redness but it is not inflamed or bumpy. It goes away gradually after about 10 minutes when the heat isnt coming from my knees. The redness appears in the same pattern every time and can even appear from constant sunlight on the area. I'm just wondering what may be causing the redness and my heated joints.
Avatar f tn But the vesicles involved and the rash involved are due to trapping of keratin or dead skin and even bacteria in the sweat glands. In your case, you have noted the rash only on the legs. Sweat rash or heat rash is still a differential .However do you also note other similar rash in other parts of the body? If this is heat rash, avoiding hot and humid places is necessary .Avoid excessive sweating or engaging in strenuous exercises which may lead to excessive sweat.
Avatar n tn Hi, I have had an itching rash on my arms and legs for a week. It first started with a small area on my right arm but the rash became bigger, then on both my arms and now on the front of my leg. The bumps look like pimples and got inflamed/raised like a small mosquito bite when scratched. It fits all the descriptions of a heat rash but it has been a week now and they are not on the neck, in the groin, under the breasts, or in elbow creases. Just on my arms and legs!
Avatar f tn I get a rash often between my thighs that I believe is heat rash. The pain from the rash comes and goes but my skin has gotten thicker and darkened in that area now. I also have developed small, painless bumps in the area. There are at least 50 on each leg; they are flesh colored to light brown and raised. They are pimple like but when squeezed, nothing comes out (they do bleed a little when squeezed.) I have had these bumps for several months.

Avatar f tn I do have something called livedo ritucularis which is a type of rash on my legs. I also have a butterfly rash on my cheeks and bridge of nose.
Avatar n tn One should also contact a doctor if the rash seems worse and fever is present. In most cases, prickly heat will resolve within a few weeks without medical attention or intervention. Regards.
Avatar f tn It sounds like you may have a heat rash of some type or even a rash from the sand at the beach. Try to stay away from the heat, keep your legs washed with cooler water, and if the rash continues- I'd encourage you to get to your doctor to have them take a look.
Avatar n tn The worst thing to do is type into google HIV rash - because most of them are not. Many are heat rashes, prickley heat or allergic reactions. As Iwan said, your risk would be said to be minimalist(if any). I had a rash on my back in the correct HIV window and I was convinced it was....... but no, it was an allergic reaction to medication. If you find that you can't relax your mind about this and worry starts to make you sick, Just get a test. Then you will have peace of mind.
Avatar n tn s a problem which quite a few women seem to get more than men. It is a heat rash where your body cannot expel the sweat from the glands properly - it is brought on by the sun.
Avatar f tn The reason the rash tends to stay on your arms and legs is from the heat/sweating in those areas. Cotton clothing breathes the best.
8102917 tn?1402457914 ( im just starting to recover from some type of poisin ivy looking rash that was all over my legs and now I have some type of allergic reaction to the sun or heat rash. Its a small red bump rash all over my stomach, chest, and arms since Thursday and its soo itchy.
2218251 tn?1339481747 Since you get these blotches only while travelling to hot climate, it can be a fungal infection, heat urticaria (rashes develop due to heat), contact dermatitis due to something your legs come in contact with (say while trekking). Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined when you return with the rash. Take care!
Avatar f tn I get this EXACT same thing every time I go to Disney...I have been calling it "Disney Rash." I just went yesterday and got it again. It last for a week to a week and a half. I have been wondering if I should go to the doctor about it.
280369 tn?1316702041 Sounds more like a heat rash. When you get chicken pox, they start as little red bumps, but quickly fill in with fluid and then pop, creating a scab. VERY itchy too, if you recall when you had them. You would probably know in the next day if it is chicken pox by the change in the spots. As for you, it shouldn't be a problem if you already had the chicken pox.
Avatar f tn Sometimes in extreme heat, such as hot showers, I can get the rash all the way up my legs and even on my chest, however these areas do not tend to be as itchy. This only ever occurs when standing up statically, if I walk the symptoms diminish. An aching sensation in my knees can often occur as well. This usually does not occur too often as I live in the U.K.
