4488108 tn?1355348492 Due to the high salt content in baking soda, pregnant women shouldn't use it as treatment for heartburn. Can also send your blood pressure high. "Baking soda is rich in sodium, so its excess intake can create risks and complications in people who have high blood pressure.

299260 tn?1304219705 ( When I was taking 25mg of progesterone twice a day, it delayed my AF by a day. So now that I'm taking 50mg twice a day, do you all think it'll delay my AF even more than that?? ad_06- Don't worry, your numbers will rise! :) Tomorrow is almost here! :) Keyan- Thanks for the note, and thanks for always staying positive for me! You're awesome! :) Leighanne- Aww... sorry about Jaedyn! I hope he starts feeling better soon! Rachjas- How are you feeling? I'm crossing everything sweetie!!
299260 tn?1304219705 My skin has been breaking out a bit, but most doctors recommend pregnant women not use the acne standards: benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, glycolic acid. I have just been living with it and using nothing. Yesterday I discovered a line called Belli, which seems serious about prenatal and maternal personal care products. I wondered what, if anything, others have heard of it.
299260 tn?1304219705 I have to wait six more weeks at least to find out if I can keep this baby. I would rather just not be pregnant than to be pregnant with just one since I have this disorder that we do not want to pass on. Also, we went through this fertility journey just to end up with the same result as if we just tried naturally. What a waste of money too since we have no fertility issues.
299260 tn?1304219705 Stacey- Aww man! :( Sorry about the bleeding! But at least there's a positive outcome at the end of the tunnel, and it's only 5 weeks away! :) Like you said, you've made it to 31, so 5 more should be a breeze! Little Jake has always been OK, and that's the most important part! Take it easy, and enjoy relaxing before you have a screaming baby in your arms! ;) Mommyin10- How'd your trigger go last night?
299260 tn?1304219705 I wouldn't stop them just yet, b/c you just never know. AF will come if you're not pregnant, even while taking them. It just affects everyone differently. Good luck! Oh, mommyin09 and I don't test unless we really, really think it's going to be +ve! :) Her beta is Friday, and AF should be here for me on Thursday, so if my temps don't drop Thursday, maybe i'll test. :) We'll keep you informed.
299260 tn?1304219705 30...not bad for a pregnant chick! :) I have my second ultrasound on Wednesday morning. I'm not as nervous as I was for my first but still feel a little anxious. I can't help it and just hope everything is progressing normally! Mommyin09 - Thanks for the new thread! Here's hoping your IUI this month is as perfect as the last...but with a nice BFP at the end! Luvkayln - Sorry about the cysts. 2 is not bad and they will dissolve on their own.
Avatar n tn (Sort of like the childbirth horror stories everyone feeds women pregnant for the first time.) I got one of those pre-treatment kits from Scherring Plough and they had a calendar with quotes on it. One that stuck with me: "courage is being scared to death . . . and saddling up anyway. John Wayne" Hang in there!!
478429 tn?1265247987 ) she said: if you want really want to get pregnant too bad and from the bottom of your heart... you will sooner or later.. God will give you one.
299260 tn?1304219705 The lower back pain is still there, though not nearly as bad. On top of that, this weekend I had heartburn like no one's business. I tried tums, pepto, nothing worked. The only that helped at all was milk. So I ended up drinking over a gallon of milk by myself this weekend. I started having some nausea yesterday (afternoon). I have a little today too. Nothing serious. Just a few more days until I test. I'm hoping that all these signs are from p/g not af. Please, AF stay away!
299260 tn?1304219705 I was sooo sick when I was pregnant, and took medicine constantly not knowing I was pregnant! The first 3 months are the most important, but those little ones stay tough! Good luck to you! Don't get discouraged if your test on Sunday is -ve, because it will still be early, but it is a good start date to test! :) Keyan- You're welcome! I'm always checking on my friends! :) I'm so glad af still hasn't shown for you! That's a great sign that your temps are still up too!!!
Avatar n tn I am a 34y/o F. I went to the physican just recently for heartburn. He did the poking around on the abdomen. He noted the mass in my abdomen. I assumed it was probably fibroids. He scheduled me for an ultrasound last week. Sure enough a mass probably fibroid in nature. It unfortunately has caused me more problems than heartburn. Pressure, bloating, pain, ligament pain. The nurse told me the overall size of the uterus is 7.5 X 9 X 13. They did not however tell me how many or how big.
Avatar f tn [Texas Tech:] 'The recommended antibiotic for the treatment of Lyme disease in non-pregnant adults is doxycycline, however, doxycycline is not ideal for breastfeeding mothers due to its long half-life and greater uptake into human milk than alternative treatments. Other antibiotics such as amoxicillin, cefuroxime, clarithromycin and azithromycin are preferred since their levels of transmission into breastmilk have been measured and are minimal.
478429 tn?1265247987 ) I just feel completely different this time around, totally different then when I was pregnant with the girls, and I know each pregnancy is different but it just amazes me at how different each one can actually be! :) Can't wait to hear your update from your apmt on Monday! I know you're anxious to see that lil bean! ;) How are you feeling? Guesito- The baby's room is adorable! :) I'm glad the contractions have stopped, what a relief!! Wow, you're good! You've already got your bags packed?!
748543 tn?1463449675 For the past few weeks I have been throwing around ideas as to the best way to respond to this matter. You see a recent article ( Feb.3 , 2009 NY times) titled "Best treatment for TMJ May be Nothing" nearly made me clench my jaw to pieces. While well written, I found that the author, Ms. Brody, relied heavily on out dated and narrow perspective supplied to her by a small group of dentists.
Avatar m tn There have been several reports of anaphylactic shock in people who have used milk thistle products. The safety of milk thistle in pregnant or nursing women is unknown. Theoretically, milk thistle may lower blood sugar levels, so it should be used with caution by people with diabetes, hypoglycemia and those taking medications or supplements that affect blood sugar levels.
Avatar n tn This is the only site I have come across that women actually have gotten pregnant. I hope that i will be able to have a baby with my new husband.
224256 tn?1212260623 I hope this is not what you are experiencing, but since women tend to put off treatment thinking they are overreacting, it is important to get checked by a doc...they can best tell you what is happening. Better safe than sorry.
Avatar f tn Another thing that could contribute to this is the fact that I was on Accutane, (a very strong acne treatment) Accutane is so strong that you HAVE to stay abstinent on the drug because it can seriously deform your baby if you were to get pregnant. So, of course I stayed abstinent my whole entire treatment. You also have to stay m for a whole entire month after ending your treatment to make sure it is completely out of your system. My treatment was June 2013-December 2013.
Avatar n tn Yes, after I miscarriage I didn't feel pregnant anymore, no more morning sickness, heartburn, etc. My first miscarriage I didn't feel pregnant even before I miscarriage. But just think how you feel not everyone feels the same, I know there is people who dont have any pregnancy symptoms and they are. YOu got 2 weeks before your ultrasound just relax, try to be off your feet as much as you can, dont carry anything heavy, and think positive everything will be fine.
Avatar n tn I'll be 46 at the end of this month & just moved to a new state so I don't have the luxury of knowing any doctors. In the last 1-2 months I suddenly gained 40 + lbs & look pregnant. That seems to be where the weight all is. A urinalysis proved negative for pregnancy on Monday & with my 3 grown kids I did not gain this much weight &/or so fast. I just look pregnant & feel "full - heavy - tired & short of breath" most of the time.
280700 tn?1210287416 I read something that said 80% of women who take clomid will get pregnant while on it...but something like 50% of those will end in miscarriage. I don't think the clomid increases your risk of miscarriage, I just think it's whatever is going on with your body. I took prometrium for 7 days to start my period, and then I took the clomid days 5-9 of my cycle. As soon as my period stopped I BD every other day. I went for progesterone check on CD21.
Avatar n tn if you were on the fertility meds and progesterone, you will probably feel that way even if you're pregnant or not. you may want to check out webmd Infertility Treatment Support Group (TTC) this board is SO helpful...you'lll get a lot of information there.
Avatar n tn Does that mean i won't be able to get pregnant since i am not ovulating? A few weeks ago i was getting really bad cramps but no period, what does that mean? I want to be pregnant but with no period yet i don't know if its possible?? Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks!
Avatar n tn All of the HPTs that I have taken came back negative. I was pregnant in January but was unable to carry the baby to term, my breast are bigger than ever, but are not very tender like the first time but just a little tender, I have lots of movement in my stomach, headaches, frequent urination, and fatigue. I feel the way I do now the way I did then except for I had very bad mornig sickness then.
Avatar n tn Within days, I felt better than I had felt in years. Then, 2 weeks later, I got pregnant for the first time. My husband and I had been trying for a while. I have a beautiful 8 month old now. Also, I had become intolerant of several foods, such as all dairy, and now I can tolerate these foods again. Just not gluten. And I was totally unaware of the problem before I went gluten free (could not see any connection between how I was feeling and the consumption of gluten).
478429 tn?1265247987 If the H1N1 virus does reach a state of pandemic, as predicted by the CDC, then any pregnant women that becomes infected with the virus is potentially risking her life as well as that of her unborn baby. Current estimates suggest that up to 25% of individuals could be inflicted w/ H1N1. Pregnant women are in a "high risk" category and could suffer much more serious complications from H1N1 than the general public.
Avatar n tn A delayed or missed menstruation is the most common pregnancy symptom leading a woman to test for pregnancy. When you become pregnant, your next period should be missed. Many women can bleed while they are pregnant, but typically the bleeding will be shorter or lighter than a normal period. Other Explanations: Excessive weight gain/loss, fatigue, hormonal problems, tension, stress, ceasing to take the birth control pill, or breast-feeding.
Avatar n tn Yes, I got a neg. test when I was almost 7 weeks. I KNEW I was pregnant and the Dr. kept telling me that the test was neg. So I demanded a blood test and ultrasound and the baby was indeed there. She is now 7 years old! Hope it turns out for you!
