Ha thank god I don't have random involuntary movements! However I feel like I've developed a pregnancy induced speech impediment like sometimes I lack to ability to speak properly! I used to have nightmares about tornadoes and was totally freaked out by them. Think it was from Wizard of oz, I don't know for sure. But I ended up majoring in meteorology and worked at the severe storms forecast center in Oklahoma...tornado alley. I have been on numerous tornado chases. Went from phobic to being completely fascinated by them. That is one of the main components of getting over a phobia...continued exposure to what you are phobic about.

Probably not good suggestions but.. a Wizard of Oz theme, your daughter could be Dorothy and the boys either the lion, the tin man or the scarecrow. Or The Little Mermaid theme, your daughter Ariel and the boys Flounder and Sebastian.. :) Hope this helps!

s dressed up. DH and I had the idea of me being Dorothy from wizard of oz and him being the scare crow. I was going to put straw in my hair and sticking out of the apron over my belly :-) Last year my sis-in-law and my brother dressed up as an angel and a devil. She wore a sign around her neck that said "The devil made me DO IT!" I've heard of the wife painting her belly as a watermelon and the husband as a farmer.

That being said I always knew that he was one of if not THE most up to date and well informed Hepatologists in the world and thus I never changed physicians despite his Wizard of OZ-like availability. Best of Luck.

So I am about 7 1/2 weeks along and decided to try this fat free salad dressing with my raw carrots today and was just fine until I thought about the fact that the dressing has poppyseeds in it. Is this okay to eat if I am pregnant? I start thinking about The Wizard of Oz and how poppys are not good for you too much at a time and know they're fine normally but for pregnant women is it okay?

i also read a book i have called bedtime stories, it has all the stories in it, from pinnocio, to cinderella, also read Walt Disney books, and stories like alice in wonderland, wizard of oz. I have lots of books. This will be my second child, with my first i read to her all the time while I was pregnant and even after. She is now 11yrs old, she loves to read, and she has always read above her grade level. On top of that she is very smart. Straight A student.

Has she seen the Wizard of OZ? Has she been watching all the news on the hurricanes and their recent devastation? How about the show "Storm Chasers"? The movie Twister would be another. There are so many things that influence a child's fears, it's hard to say. I would have a heart to heart talk with her and see if anything she has seen about wind has scared her. It never hurts to have a child talk to a counselor if it becomes a big issue and affects her daily life.

When he was five, he told me all he wanted for his birthday was red sparking shoes like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. He also loved to play with Barbies.
