because you cant get pregnant on your period. a period is when your body releases the egg. when you ovulate that's a new egg and you get pregnant than bit egg only lives for a few days then it died then u get ur period and starts over again. you need to work out your cycle.

I dont think you are stupid. I am having the same problem. I have sex without a condom and I am on the pill. Then I stopped being on the pill for the 1 week to have my period. STD's can lead to infertility years down the line. Even if he put it in "just a little", if he had an STD, you could contract it. Its not worth gambling with your future fertility and health.
