I'm asking this for a friend. She's 15, and is having problems with her period. 2 years ago she met a guy and they started having sex almost weekly for 1-2 years, not using any kind of birth control, and not pulling out during ejaculation. She hasn't had any signs of pregnancy since that point. Since January of last month, her periods have stopped, until today. What I mean is having sex after a pregnancy or during menopause can cause pain during sex. Woman with endometriosis can have pain as well. Your best bet is if nothing seems to help you at home, then see your doctor. Sorry I couldn't give you direct advice but I hope this helps.

I hate to disagree with anyone, but there are women that do have a rare second ovulation during their menstrual cycle. But probably what is more common when a woman gets pregnant 'on her period' is that she has sex during her period and the sperm lives a few days and she ovulates a bit early== wa la, pregnant. There is NO safe time to have unprotected sex. There are less fertile times but no time that is guaranteed to be safe.

i know already that you can get pregnant during your period, but i was just wondering...would your period stop if you got pregnant during your period?...like say you had sex the first day of your period, and you ended up getting pregnant. would it just stop?...or would it continue out and then you would miss the next time?

She should take a home pregnancy test as a first measure (be sure to follow all instructions exactly for accuracy). Find one that can be used as soon as you miss a period. After that, if it comes out positive, you can examine your options. If it's negative, you can wait and see if her period comes next month, or go to a doctor if you're worried or she starts having pregnancy symptoms.

Ok heres the deal. I had sex with my boyfriend the 1st day of my period and he came inside me.
