Are you having sex on your period? Or am I reading it wrong. You don't get pregnant that way you have to have sex when you ovulate most woman ovulate 14 days after period started.. some woman ovulate differently..

Period sex can be safe if both partners are free of all stds and infections. Beware though anytime blood is involved there are higher risk for transmitting HIV or other stds. So just make sure you are both clean.Alot of woman enjoy it because it is like a massage for their cramps and all the extra hormones they have during their period makes them extra frisky. It's not a problem to have sex on your period, but make sure you use protection. Just because you're bleeding doesn't mean you're safe from pregnancy.

at this point treat your kidney infection obviously and then follow up on things. you can get tested for std's while you have your period - makes no difference at all. What is important is that you waited enough time between the last time you had sex and getting tested. do you know what they tested you for too? odds are herpes wasn't a part of your std testing. you should follow up with a type specific herpes igg blood test 3 months after the last time you had sex.

its not likely to get pregnant on your period but if your cycle gets messed up or anything (and at a young age your periods never regular) then shes likely to get pregnant.

okay, couple days ago i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend while i was on my period. Im also new to pills and i just started on my pills as soon as im on my period. My period started on monday and it suppose to be finished next monday i suppose. Well you see.. the 5 days while im on my period i had unprotected sex with him. from my experience, period suppose to be lesser as the day go by but after we did it blood start to came out.

In my experience, and a couple other women I talked to, they also found that having sex right before 'get's' you your period. Like, often they have PMS, and they are waiting, and waiting, and then having intercourse does the trick. of course I have no evidence for that, but I thought it was an interesting observation.

You said in your other post that this was five days before you expected your period? If so, you won't be at risk of pregnancy, since you would not be ovulating 5 days before your next period was due, more like 14 days before.

I not sure if being on your period makes the mammogram appear "weird"... although being on your period would make the breasts swollen and sensitive... and thereby sensitive to compression. But, since you were told that you have "some tissue"... I would assume that it's the tissue (density?) that's making the mammogram difficult to view and interpret.

I read somewhere on here on a different post tgat having sex right after your period can actually restart your cycle or make your period restart or come back or something like that. How true is this? Or is it true at all, and when is tge best time to be intimate if planning for a baby? My cycles have been out of whack lately, so pinpointing ovulation day has been really difficult. If it was a flow I'd definitely be holding off on sex, they might have you wait til you deliver, depending on why you're bleeding.I would call again today and let them know you're still spotting.

But I just talk to a nusre and she said you can still bleed as if your having your period when your period and my aunt just said the whole time she was pregnant she had one and she didnt find out that she was until she was four months.. but I dunno I am confused because I get two periods a month one at the first of the month and one at the last.
