Sex can make your period start early or stop early. I have that happen to me plenty of times. Most women don't ovulate during their period, its rare. But if your worried wait until you miss your next period to test.

For me, I bled A LOT during sex and it was due to cervical polyps. I first had a D&C which took care of the issue for about 6 months. They grew back and then I had to get endo ablation which made it stop, along with my period and ability to carry a baby.
