I had sex for the first time last Saturday, which was almost 6 days ago. My boyfriend didn't have an condom on, and he sticked his penis only half-way inside me because since he didn't know how to put an condom on, I didn't want him to break my "cherry".

Here's the story. I had a leep procedure (shaving off part of your cervix due to high risk pap) the end of march right after my period ended. 2 weeks later (mid april) I got the go ahead to have sex and start my new Birth Control nuvaring. That night we had unprotected sex in the middle of the night and the next morning I put in my nuvaring for the first time. Since then I've been having crazy hot flashes, I'm more tired, and sometimes feel alittle sick.

babies are costly which you will learn in due course, just hope you think about the risks in having another child ie not having much time with your first etc before it becomes too late. congratulations with your current pregnancy!

You might want to wait awhile longer before having sex again. I know it takes time to heal but unsure for exact time. You can always call your Dr though and see what they say.

With my first we waited the full 6 weeks because I had stitches and it hurt still the first couple of times. With my second I didnt have stitches and husband and I only waited two weeks before we both gave in and it was amazing. I think it just depends on how much damage delivery did.

Your supposed to wait 6 weeks after giving birth. Do you have your 6 week appointment set up yet? Your Dr will let you know if it's alright for you and your husband to have sex. You could be a little bit sore or maybe not at all. If you don't want to become pregnant again right away use condoms. Even if you plan to go on the pill you could get pregnant the first month your on them. I hope this helps. Congratulations on your new baby.

And also you do bleed for a while after giving birth. I bled for 5 weeks. But yes if you test it takes time to heal.

t think you should be having sex because there will be NO answer you will accept about the subject. Get on the pill if you don't trust condoms. That's all I have to say.

I know! I am scared too! This is my first time actually giving birth, but I've raised two other kids from the time they were babies and they are now 7 & almost 11. So after birth I'm not too scared about that. I know about raising children but actually giving birth is what I'm scared of. I was really worried with my first too. There were quite a few months there where I flat out refused to do either a vaginal birth or a csection, and my forever patient dr every time just said we'd talk about it closer to the time, lol. I ended up having a csection and everything went great. Definitely not what I expected. Now I'm about to have my 2nd csection in 2wks just 18mths later. You'll do great mummy!

Anyone got pregnant in the first 3 months after having their baby? I had my daughter Jan 10th this year and exactley 3 months to the day I found out I'm 4 -5 weeks pregnant so nervous but happy but so nervous considering I almost died giving birth.
