So i just got my new I-Pod and i am filling it up with all my music. I love music!! Anyways, wanted to know what everyones fav songs are. Whether its new songs or an older songs!! Thanks!!

This is a tricky one as I am an old school raver from back in the good old days of dance music, so I do like my hardhouse music, but lately I have been drawn to progressive, chillstep and dubstep, so's it all depends on the day and the mood, lol. I'll roll with Drum and Bass for today, haha!

I want to start playing music for my baby I am 11 weeks is this too soon for the baby to be able to hear it? And if so when would be a good time?

I am 18w4d and my little girl seems to love music..I turn on my pandora radio and sit it on my tummy and she dances all around in there..it is absolutely adorable and I can't get enough of feeling her move:)good luck on your pregnancy!

Anyone else let your little one listen to music? I read to my tummy and put little nursey songs on for my him. And he starts noving a lot . Does anyone do this ?

I don't ever listen to the radio...I hate commercials, and I only like maybe one song out if a whole day's worth, if that....PLUS, the biggie, I don't get radio reception because I live between two hills...so I have to listen in my car. I dig classic rock, alternative, dance, all kinds of stuff.....there's a couple of good music posts either further down, or possibly on the next page..where everybody posted some of their favorite stuff.......check it out.

Just wondering what kind of music everyone finds comfort in and maybe songs that u rely on 2 get u through the good days and the bad ones !!!

I haven't posted since my fifth day off of subs. Feeling good on my third week. I do notice that every song reminds me of a love song to my DOC. Which is any opiate I could get my hands on. Did anyone else notice this thing about songs?

Hi everybody! My son is almost 6 months (sunday) and I was wondering if any of you have any good toy recommendations. He is starting to crawl and is over all his "baby toys"! I want something that he will be interested in for longer then 5 minutes haha. There are a gazillion toys out there, I know, but which ones are actually worth my money and not junk?! Thank you!

Good to hear Bubble !! ;)) When I read about people finding hidden pills on here it surprises me how often it happens lol I have never lost a speck of pill lol . Oh I don't know if anyone said anything but we try to keep on one thread here but you can make another one in a couple of days when the thread gets full but when you have four or five threads going a day it bumps other people who need helps questions to the back pages.

Just curious, and since virtually everyone loves music, what is you're fav. Music genre? Fav bands? Fav songs? I personally love heavy metal, love bands like Slipknot, Mudvayne, Pantera, Lamb of God..etc. However I love classic rock, Queen, Bad co. Kansas, etc. I'm also in love with Amy Lee (from Evanescence) voice. Love that band.. yes, I have a soft side lol.

i know there have been a lot of posts on music, but u can never have too many good songs. i find some songs help through cravings and stress etc. music has helped with this addiction for sure. if you guys have any good songs, especially those u can relate to using or songs that have helped you i would love a list, im gonna make a cd this weekend.

More along my lines. I like to listen to something depressing such as anything by Nick Drake or Syd Barrett and work those feelings out. Then having gotten over them I move on. I tend to listen to cheerier music when I am hypomanic. Its only recently after recovery from psychosis that I am aware of it but the music I listen to matches the affect I am in. As for Pink Floyd I know as a kid growing up, that half of the kids when they felt angry at the world listened to "The Wall".

NIC u will be happy to know a bought a Nordic track tonight I can hook my iPhone right up to it listen to music, movies. Very cool. Comes with some new smart cards that program automatically. For beginner to expert. Sorry no tanning bed yet avalanche n wait. It took them for every to find the treadmill I wanted. Ialso bought wieght gainer and melatonin at vitaminshop instead of Valium. Anyone know if it works?

Today is a good day.... I find music REALLY helps... and dance like no one is watching... (which I hope no one is.. lol)... Good Luck, God Bless... You may feel like crap today going through withdrawls and recovery... but if will definately get better!!!!! (doesn't always feel like it will) but be strong, it is worth it... and Really if I can...YOU CAN!!!!
