Roxie is a seven-month-old rottweiler. . I have had her for a couple days. She has a history of abuse, but a loving and gentle disposition. She was kept chained in a garage for most of her life. Her hind legs muscles are very poorly developed and sometimes her feet slide out from under her. She tires quickly and I have seen her take some hard tumbles when her legs failed to hold her. She is lively and active and wants to do all the things a 7-month-old puppy does.
when i was pregnant i got a rottweiler as a puppy. at first she would never leavey side and once i had my son she turned on me. i couldnt walk her, go near her food bowls without her growling at me... wanted nothing to do with me.... i still showed her the same attention as she was getting before. im thinking about getting another rott pup but not until after i have this baby.
what happends when you get a puppy that is mixed with rottweiler and shitzu? what do i need to look for with its health or attitude .
My rottweiler puppy is 5 months old and my husband recently moved from colorado to las vegas with him. For the last couple days he has been sick. He has severe diarrhea and he's not eating. his ears feel hot like he has a fever. He doesn't want to play or anything. He just lays there like he's depressed. HELP!!!! I'm really worried and i don't know whats going on with him!!!
I have heard many different things about glucosamine for dogs . That is is okay for your dogs, and also that it isn't. There can be many benefits to providing supplements for your dog. It can help them remain healthy and with that even happier. No one likes to deal with a grumpy dog. Can you tell me where I could find more information about glucosamine for dogs though?
he gave him glucose for the severe weight loss and appetite and some antibiotic and antivomiting meds...is my puppy really going to die ?
We just adopted a 13 week old puppy through a rescue group, he was already neutered at a very young age of 10 weeks, and we are concerned that he may have complications from his neutering. A week ago we noticed a small purple bump on the incision site that didn't seem to really bother him, but now a week later it has trippled in size and is dark purple. It was bleeding and pussing the other night, so I cleaned it with warm water and a paper towel.
Just wanted to update.. Callie is doing better!! I have kept her in her crate and as much as it pains me to keep her in the crate.. Only let her out to eat and potty and the discharge is minimal and it looks good!!! I'm going to keep this routine for another week.. Can't wait for my baby to be back to normal.. I have Rottweiler puppy 60 days old ,past 4 days it's can taking aa food but it not pooping it become very dull and health less...I have take him to doctors first day doctor said it suffering from fever and they inject and give some medicine ..
Are you looking for general nutrition info or does your shepherd have a medical issue? You might contact the German Shepherd Dog Club of America for specific dietary needs for Shepherds. Don't forget your vet as a resource either. There are many excellent commercial foods available nowadays - I'm partial to Royal Canin - so don't reject them out of hand simply because they are mass produced.
I had my husband bring home a blanket first for the dogs to smell. The real trick is going to be your cats. Cats tend to want to lay on the baby, because they are warm or to lock their mouths because of the milk. If the dog so is attached to you it will probably love your baby. Hope this helps.
My boyfriend's chow-rottweiler-lab mix (about ten years old) has been having some problems with his skin. Lately its to the point that the top of his rump, his tail, and the insides of his legs have lost most of their hair (though I partially attribute this to chewing.) His skin has patchy pink on it, and some scabs.
But she got them as puppies and I think that makes a difference too. When you get them as a puppy you can train them and get them used to the kids and cat. Sometimes an older dog will have issues or behavior problems.
You might want to read up on the different breeds and educate yourself on the different types before you get one. Muts can make wonderful pets and often times don't have as many health issues as purebred dogs, but again it depends on the different breeds it may have.
PLEASE some one answer ASAP!!!!!!!! my 6week old Rottweiler fell off my balcony on to concrete platform when i was not looking. the balcony is 15foot high. not sure how she landed however i pressed her body all over and she did not cry so no part is broken, i gave her some sugar water and brought her back upstairs. she stood and walked about 20 feet pied and "had a dump" then walked back. now she dont want to walk she sits up on her two front legs but when trying to walk she cant.
I have a 12-year-old Rottweiler/Lab mix. He has been arthritic for a few years, and been on a glucosamine/chondroitin supplement to help that. Lately, though, it seems to have gotten a LOT worse very quickly.
- When he's up and moving, he doesn't bend his left hind hock much, so he walks kind of "peg-legged."
- There have been several instances in the past couple months where his back end has simply collapsed while walking up stairs, even on the single step up to my porch.
