I have a 17 year old friend that takes Citalopram HBR 20mg tablets. He doesn't alway take them and was arguing with someone about that fact so, he decided to take some, yes plural... apparently he took all of the pills in the bottle his guess was around 30 of them. He did this probably almost 72 hours ago. He says his heartrate is sporatic. really slow sometimes and really fast others. He gets really cold. Sometimes goes numb(not sure exactly what he meant by that...
Now i have done Masters and even got a few reasons to be happy but i am on medicine since 3 years. i am taking Citalopram HBr. i want to leave this. i want to live like other peoples. i wana lough naturally , not by medicines. please help me?
I was prescribed Citalopram HBR 20 mg and lorazepam 0.5mg for two weeks.. I have never taken any drugs before, and yesterday for the first time I took these medicines. Today when I woke up, I was restless, dizzy and felt like vomiting.. I was so irritable and did not know what to do. I guess I was having anxiety.. The doctor had told me that the meds might show some side effects for a couple of days.. I was ok once I stood under shower, and let myself cool down.
My daughter 11 years old 100 lbs (big for her age), took (the correct dose) 5mL cough and cold medicine that had the following in that dose. Guaifenesin, USP 100 mg, Dextromethorpan HBr, USP 10 mL. Phenylephedrine HCI, USB 5mg. But then she also took (the correct dose) 10 mg of a prescription medicine Guaifenesin-Codeine syrup (generic for Robitussin AC syrup). It doesn't state on the label the quantity of Guaifenesin mg in the 5mL dose. How much is too much Guaifenesin?
I am not a doctor and your questions really should be addressed to a physiscian familiar with all of these issues and your particular health history. Finding the right medications and the right combination of medications can be a little tricky. These are not matters to be trusted to your friendly volunteer or even someone you know with similar issues. So, my only advice is to go back to your physician or if you are not comfortable with the advice you are getting, get asecond opinion.
m on multipile medications,MS Contin,percocet,ativan,librium,zocor,and lopressor.My psychiatrist wants to add an anti-depressant and I'm a little nervous as it is about mixing all these meds.Both my Psychiatrist and PCP know what I'm on,but do they really keep track of what could clash?They both see a lot of patients and I just can't see how they keep track.Is anyone on this many meds?And if so,any problems?
As Hep Ber, are we suppose to avoid acetominophen? Most medications such as all cold , cough, etc have it. What are we suppose to take as alternative or just go ahead and take it?
