My 18 year old son is having similiar problems. Started 3 months ago. Worse during the day (when sitting). His urinalysis (4 of them) comes back clear with no infection. He's had an ultra-sound that also came back fine.
He's gone to two urologist (we didn't like the first one) and both called it Dysuria Frequent Urgency. The second doctor put him on an anti-biotic (sulfameth) just in case there was a slight infection not showing up in test.
Believe it not, one of the best things to do is to make sure he stays hydrated, if he goes more when he does go, he will be less likely to feel more frequent urgency with less amount of urine output. If there are stressful situations affecting him, try to make sure he has some relaxation time, or quiet time to spend with his family. After about 3 to 5 months, the frequent urination symptoms dissapeared for my son. I hope this helps. Take care.
I am a 40 year old woman with the problem of frequent urination. I do not have diabetes or UTI and my ultrasound scan is normal. I underwent a D&C procedure in December of 2007. My urologist thinks that I should see a psychiatrist. I have a bulky uterus. I was 200 lbs three years ago, now I am 125 lbs, (through diet and excercise).
My gynec told me that I have over-exercised,(walking 14 km a day).

7 months ago i had unprotected sex, 3 and a half months later i got frequent urination and a stinging feeling in my penis, went to GP...got checked for UTIs and nothing.
anyway so on november 19th tested positive for chlamydia, had 1g of azith 4 tablets taken at once, next few hours and couple of days i felt good like i was getting back to normal, then after a few days the frequent urination started to kick in again but it wasnt as strong as before and i thought well whats going on..

You might want to consider a referral to a pelvic pain PT. They are often able to rule out and pelvic issues, muscular etc. that doctor's are not trained to look for.

I'm a 31 year old male last Saturday I started having frequent urination I am 370 lbs I'm pre-diabetic African American. I've had two urinalysis a test and nothing positive has shown up they prescribed me two different antibiotics One penicillin what had no affect and the other is a sulfur base which made me have weak muscles.
I am 28 years old, female. I noticed two months ago frequent urination and the very strong urge to use the bathroom almost every 20 minutes.Especialy while I was walking and a slight back pain. I did urine anaylisis which came out clear and a cultivation which came out clear as well (though the urine was quite thin, maybe due to the large amount of liquids I was consuming). I runned some gynecological tests and they came up clear (only a candinda bacterical).
About 3 days later I started noticing a increase in my need to urinate (because of this I started drinking more water, to be sure not to get dehydrated, which of course lead to more frequent urination ) I also started feeling a slight pain towards the tip of my penis... Not during urination but just throughout the day, I never noticed any discharge, swelling, or abdominal pain... And the frequency at which I urinate has gone back to more of a regular amount..
(During my antibiotics I was still having sex) My last pill was Saturday night (9/17) and I am still suffering from frequent urination. Azo seems to help but I don't want to rely on it. My problems started 2,5 months ago following a week when I had excessive masturbation (3 times a day) and had sex with someone i knew before (vaginal protected).
