I was having severe frequent urination problems. I went to several doctors and even the Mayo Clinic. I was eventually diagnosed with "chronic prostatitis." Not wanting to give up because of the problems it was causing me, I looked at stress as the possible cause. I went to a psychologist for biofeedback training -- relaxation training -- and after 3 or 4 weeks my symptoms subsided.

t it true that HSV-2 can cause frequent urination? and not everyone gets ulcers, lesions, and blister? correct? If this was from hsv-2 would my symptoms last this long. going past 2 weeks of frequent urination? urinary tract infection, interstitial cystitis, intake of diuretics and other medications, radiation therapy or bladder dysfunction. It would really help if you consult with the urologist for further evaluation and management.

33 year old male, had sex with a condom and oral sex without 3 weeks ago. On Friday, masturbated several times within a small timeframe. Saturday, woke up to a drop of white discharge on the tip of the penis, and paranoia. Sunday, was able to see another drop of discharge, by gently milking the penis, and slight discomfort at the tip at various times through the day. Today, frequent urge to urinate. Hi frquent urination in a man at night, could be from a couple of causes, being the prostrate is the most commom.
You also urinate alot if the detrusor muscle is overactive, or you suffer with diabetes,etc.
My first guess is this could be preostrate related, and your boyfriend needs to go and have this checked out, with an Urologist, a consultant.

The result in cystoscopy said mild chronic cystitis.I have been taken vesicare and xatral for 40 days now.I went to see the urologist again and he said he cannot pinpoint what is the root cause yet and it should clear on its own in 1-2 months.

Without examination confirmation of a diagnosis is tough but urge of frequent urination can be due to increased intake of fluids or diabetes mellitus.Other possibilities are glomerulonephritis, pyelonephritis(inflammation of the kidneys),urinary tract infection,hypercalcemia,hypokalemia(low potassium),hyperthyroidism,hyperparathyroidism,diuretic drugs and benign hyperplasia of the prostate(in elderly males).
I am a 22 years old male from india. I am suffering from frequent (day time) urination (around 12 times in daytime only, don't wake up from sleep to urinate ) for the last 6 years. I generally have to urinate in small amounts,I feel that I am emptying my bladder everytime . My urine flow also is normal, I take little time to start urinating as the amount of urine is not much. there is no urinary leakage , i feel my pelvic floor muscles are strong enough.
hi, i have been experiencing frequent urination and got tested for uti. they said they didnt find any bacteria so does that mean i do not have to get tested for chlamydia and gonorrhea? i do not have discharge and i took all the antibiotics from cipro, oflox, and azythro. currently im taking oxybutynine hci for overactive bladder since i had a ultra sound and they found nothing. btw im 20 yrs old healthy male but all these symptoms appeared after my sexual encounter.. it should be a std right?
