He was out for 1 hour and passed his drug test.He does not like rehab and to be honest i thought he would have left by now.But he is so determind to be drug free ,im proud of him as i always thought the worst would happen to James .He finds the meetins hard and to open up but i think that will come in time.Frank says its got to come from James and will eventually come. Comming off the methodone is horrible.I tried twice to taper down to 5 mg. I never got below the 5 though I went back up because I couldn't stand it.Which is why 3 plus weeks ago I jumped off at 25 mg.I finally realized ther was not going to be any way to avoid the withdrawl.I went on the methodone to avoid the withdrawl from the vicodin,BIG mistake.I'm only speaking from personal experience.Getting free from this drug is probably one of the hardest things I've ever done.
my first was a girl and she was taken from my custody by the state of utah when she was no more than 2 weeks old so i wasnt really given the proper chance to be a mom... never the less I fought to get her back for 4 long months till I went threw an extremely traumatic event that made me see that my daughter deserved better than what I would be putting her thru and realized that I wasn't quite Ready for that responsibility...

Hector - you raised some good questions, but there is quite a bit of backstory with this family that complicates everything. For example - his father is a 51-yr old crack head; been doing crack for over 30 years. No reason he's still alive to begin with, but not only has he survived the drugs, he is seriously bipolar as well.
WOW 6 80s a day thats quite a habit...I dont understand if you told them at the drug rehab you shooting them up there would be no question of abuse
something dosent sound right here...well there are 2 avenues to take here if you still got a bunch left you could taper off some and get down to a lower dose then jump off and hang on
the withdrawals are doable but no fun....plan 2 is just to jump off C/T and bit the bullet
you will be sick for a week but you will not dye from it...
Now I am drug free, symptom free. I just wear clay against my breast every night. I jog. I feel great, rarely ill. I am two pounds heavier than before I started Prednisone. The thing with me that is different compared lots of women with this disease is that all my trouble was local to the breast. I never had joint trouble, weakness or any other inflamation in the body. I contined to jog through the disease (but I had to hold my bandaged breast against my chest the whole time).
You stated that he went to jail for possession of drug paraphernalia, not drugs. Most, like my son did, go to rehab to avoid more jail time. And resume their old habits once they are 'clean' from rehab. Someone has to 'want' to be free from an addiction without playing games. It's his choice, sorry to say, not yours.

Sign into the hospital or drug rehab they will help it's gonna be hard but don't think about ur self think about that blessing God has given u if this baby can't make u stop then maybe nothing can get help before you hurt your baby I have had friends addicted to drugs I'm an ex drug addict 4 1/2 yrs clean u can do it I will be praying for you and hope u make the right choice God bless you
