is there any arrests involved ? i am not sure about the laws in georgia but in nj i sent my son to rehab when he was 17 and he had to stay it was a part of his sentence. when he went before the judge for his drug possession i asked that he be released to a drug rehab and he was. thank god he stayed for the 3 months and never used cocaine again. he hated me when i sent him but now at 24 he thanks me and says i saved his life by sending him there.

He snorts coke, Addarall and Ritalin, the guy leaves paraphernalia all around his house and still denies usage. He is currently on methadone which is just a free drug to him at this point. Before drug use he was an extremely stable family man. Once he go involved in the drug world, he assaulted a guy while high and claimed insanity. He still served time but he Really played it up saying he hears voices and has extreme paranoia. (only when he is high mind you.

I was here back in 2007 before you even had your second daughter, I just go by a different name now. I had actually been thinking about you recently because I am pregnant, almost 12 weeks now and it was not planned and I've been on Suboxone for over 450 days now due to a horrible addiction.
Not all rehab centers are equal. Many if not most try to do it too quickly with a one size fits all approach, whereas an individual psychiatrist who really knows his stuff will go at your pace. Not that those are easy to find! By the way, you need a new psychiatrist. The one you have doesn't seem to realize he works for you.
Sign into the hospital or drug rehab they will help it's gonna be hard but don't think about ur self think about that blessing God has given u if this baby can't make u stop then maybe nothing can get help before you hurt your baby I have had friends addicted to drugs I'm an ex drug addict 4 1/2 yrs clean u can do it I will be praying for you and hope u make the right choice God bless you

After you detox and you no longer have insurance benefits for any rehab, what do you do? My grandson just checked into a detox facility but cannot return to his home. He is detoxing from oxy, valium, alcohol and was on a binge after 10 weeks clean. I dont know what to do to help him without enabling him..any suggestions? He was out for 1 hour and passed his drug test.He does not like rehab and to be honest i thought he would have left by now.But he is so determind to be drug free ,im proud of him as i always thought the worst would happen to James .He finds the meetins hard and to open up but i think that will come in time.Frank says its got to come from James and will eventually come. Hey there Littlefoot, Glad you're here. I once had to wait in the waiting room of a mental health/rehab facilty for about 8hrs. Then they told me I wasn't going to be admitted. The system is the system and we can't do a whole lot about it. I say just keep calling them and trying. Have tried getting to an AA or NA mtg? They are free and usually quite a few folks who are willing to help. You don't have to be clean to go the mtgs. I go to AA and it helps me quite a bit.
I'm 26 weeks. I lived in Georgia and had medicaid and was able to see a doctor. I moved to Flordia when I was 17 weeks and have been denied medicaid. The last time I went to the doctor was at 16 weeks. I don't know what to do! I clean houses for my step moms business but I get paid under the table.
