i have learned how to eat better, exercise as good as i can with breathing problems and tolerate the pain of bone and muscle headaches hair thining and hair loss and hair growing out of the end of my nose ! i learned to go with the flow.. if you hurt curl up and take a nap. lighten the amount that you eat and eat more times a day. eat ll the fresh veggies you can and fruit. pay attention to the blood and calcuim if high follow the proticols in place.

I took Forteo for 10 months. and i can barely walk. i took Tymlos for the first 6 months and was fine, and then Forteo for 10 months. my strength is gone, my feet hurt wearing shoes, i have stomach pain when exercising, and ave thigh muscle cramps, neck pain, and can't sleep. I had confusion when driving, so i told my doctor i'm done with this. I know where i'm going these days, but I now use a walker around the house, elastic knee braces to walk on my own.

I have been on Forteo daily injections for 1 year and I have experienced considerable joint pains which did not exist prior to treatment. My left hip and knee, my right knee and my hands have been getting worse each month. Has anyone else experienced similar reactions?

what kind of vasculitis do you have? I read alot about vasculitis because this is what my symptoms point to but still have no diagnosis of anything. I have severe osteoporosis and am trying to take Forteo. I started out with half dose and have worked up to a full dose. The full dose 2 days in a row was disabling. My doctor suggested every other day. So I let the previous trial work its way out of my system for 5 days and tried another full dose. This is three days after the dose and I am weaker each day. I move in slow motion. My doctor is puzzled. Anyone had a similar experience?
