1467506 tn?1286413017 Hi there...when I'm having a "worse day" with my Fibro...I do get that finger pain. It's just an aching pain exactly where you describe it. Not something I have every day, just on my not-so-good days. I've also been checked for RA and don't have it. I have a bit of osteoarthritis in my back and knees but the doc says it's normal for my age.
Avatar n tn I've been having problems with my left leg since I've been pregnant; like a pinch nerve and I'm having to drag when it hurt. My doctor just said its the stretching of the ligaments. Well I'm 21weeks pregnant and just started back working in a warehouse. I'm on my feet for at least 10 hrs with breaks in between. On my first day, my left leg just gave out and I was trying to put my weight on my right which didn't make it better.
Avatar f tn I have arthritis in my knee and in my left foot - but think it is also now in my hip. I was taking percocet for pain but have tried to get off them as I feel I was getting addicted. Right now I am looking for advice - the bottom of my left foot hurts and aches... is there anything you can put in your shoes or on your foot to lessen the pain? It's not swollen, and I don't really want a store bought insert because then it makes it too high for my foot.
97615 tn?1212678589 Now after this baby I started to do some agressive yoga and I found that while in certain poses that I flex my foot I feel a sharp/electric shock like pain. This is located below the ankle bone on the outside of the foot but closer to the bottom of the foot than to the ankle bone. I have seen a chiropractor for an adjustment that did not work. I have seen a podiatrist that said I have tendonitis and gave me a corticosteroid shot. It had no effect. I will not do that again.
1178983 tn?1279663655 The surgeon said that it heal my foot and take away any residual pain after a break that refused to heal. My pain has never really gone away and my surgeon of course stopped filling my scripts for pain meds, I'm pretty sure he thought I was just faking or something. All they kept saying was that I shouldn't still be in so much pain. Well, here we are seven months later and more days than not my foot is throbbing.
Avatar f tn ve had sciatica issues since the beginning of my pregnancy, but I started prenatal yoga around 15 weeks and the sciatica pain had nearly vanished. Well... Since the holidays came around, yoga is postponed till after the new year. I haven't had classes for 2 weeks and I swear I can barely stand this evening. The pain is terrible. What else can I do btwn now and January to assuage the pain? Non medication remedies please. I'm 21+5, first time mom.
Avatar f tn I'm 24 weeks with my second pregnancy and I have sciatic pain in my left leg. But tonight it's like making under my butt feel like a pulled muscle and my foot to keep falling asleep. The only time tonight that it's not bothering me much is if I'm in the tub. I can't stay in there all night. Any suggestions?
649848 tn?1534633700 Well, Ranaesheart suggested the other day that I do a post about yoga, since I suggest it whenever someone new comes into the community, so I'm going to give it a shot. I must confess, I am definitely a novice with yoga myself, but I learn more as I go along. I know there are several different kinds of yoga, ranging from what I do, which is slow and deliberate to another type that is very physical. Each kind of yoga has its own name and no, I don't know them all.
794091 tn?1264986339 more often than not I have to force myself to yoga, because my muscles craves it. I do find stretching help easing the pain a bit. Most of all, I will have to do whatever slows down/stops muscle atrophy. Have you tried it?
Avatar f tn Starting yoga tomorrow. First time, ever! 24 weeks and a few days and im a little nervous! Any other mommas do or doing prenatel yogA?

12162520 tn?1426012596 I went to put on my shoes & when I bent down I had a sharp pain it felt like I squished my baby... is that possible?
Avatar f tn I already asked this on another forum but i want as much feed back as i can get lol....So I have had pain in the back of my heels since I found out I was pregnant but recently it's getting worse. It doesn't matte if I'm standing or sitting the pain is horrible. If I sit for more than two minutes and try to get up and walk the pain is almost unbearable! Does anyone know what this is? Any advice? Should I talk to my dr when I see her next?
Avatar n tn OUCH! Those leg spasms are aweful. I am sorry you are having this pain. I had some in my calf/foot & the pain went all the way up my thigh. The pain in my leg lasted for 5 days. I do hope that you find relief soon - when you do - let me know your trick :) I am sure others will chime in with advice but I wanted you to know that you are not alone with this problem. Take care.
Avatar f tn I am experiencing horrific pelvic, hip, sciatic pain. When I walk, lift leg, roll over, it crunches and pops and I feel like my body is going to give out and I'll fall. I'm 33 weeks and will be having a c section in 3 weeks. Does anyone have any tips for even a little relief until then?
Avatar f tn Maybe you have a pinched nerve, but ,clinically,it looklike soft tissue injury in lower back area (L4/L5),which means inflammation tissue lead to right leg pain and right foot pain ,and this tissue also can stimulate nerves, then affect sensations of calf and back stiff ,etc So physical examination of lower back is more important than MRI,It's hard to know inversion therapy works for you or not. Good luck!
1385928 tn?1279569746 Walking is always a good choice; yoga is another. Yoga is based on proper breathing, relaxation, stretching; it will lengthen you muscles and make you look sleek and slim all over.
Avatar f tn I have had mild osteoarthritis in my right hand, of and on. Now I have knee pain, both knees, elbow pain, foot pain (orthotics (4 diff pairs) haven't helped). Not severe enough to take meds. Have been sleeping on a magnetic mat for 3 years. Doesn't seem to help. Have been going to osteopath, masseur, acupuncturist, nutritionist (treating inflammation). No real relief. Other issue (related?) is poor blood circulation (circulatory disorder). Not overweight (120lbs at 5'4.
Avatar f tn Try having ur partner rub ur back with epsom salt it took pain out of my foot lol so it should work on any part of ur body im just trying to give ideas
Avatar m tn I've been experiencing a bit of numbness on the top of my right foot for about 5 days now. I don't believe it is related to any physical injury in the foot. I was reading some related posts and it occurred to me this might be related to an incident 2 years ago where I fear i may have injured my neck while carrying buckets of cement incorrecctly. I didn't suffer any particular accident, but i noticed one day that my neck was making popping sounds.
Avatar f tn It hurt so bad tonight that I could not put pressure on my right foot and walk to the couch unless I turned my foot and walked on its side. My husband wants to go to the ER but I am afraid a Xray could hurt the baby this late in my pregnancy. Advice appreciated.
168348 tn?1379357075 YEAHHH YOUUUU!!! The family who exercises together .. learns the importance of exercise and stays healthy together! Yoga is a wonderful low impact exercise and hope you will share your experiences! It builds our core muscles. Have to share with you that I popped out of bed at 5 am positive that I would just get up and "do" the yoga exercises on TV. My, oh my .. that yoga is really amazing! Just standing there in those positions uses your muscles and you can really feel it!
