I swear by zinc lozenges on the first onset of a sore throat. I'm only 5 Weeks pregnant and wouldn't you know it, I have the start of a sore throat. anyone know if it's ok to take the lozenges? I know, I know, I need to ask my OB but I don't even have one in place yet since I'm so early on.
m beginning to do some research. Some of my initial research shows that many of the things I have been experiencing may very well be indicative of thyroid issues when taken as a whole. Those issues include depression, increasing fatigue, adult onset asthma, elevated triglycerides (hyperlipidemia) and others. I simply thought my body was aging, especially since I'm menopausal and have not had a monthly cycle in 2 years.
ve had this really weird fizzing sensation off and on at the back of my throat all day. It feels like a handful of poprocks are at the top of my throat/back of my mouth. It's a really weird suggestion. I have some acid reflux problems, but I've got a prescription acid reducer that I take for that daily so I don't think that's the problem. Could the Flonase be the cause?
Lymph nodes are some what enlarged, there is a palpable mass in the back of neck where the spine meets the base of head. Onset color change in gums, and a soft fleshy like lesion has appeared near tonsil on the right side and is continuing to grow. Also has rapid changes happening to their voice along with 17lbs of unexplained weight loss over a 2 month time span.
Nothing worked and I was too embarrassed to even go to Doctor. I never really itched it either it was more pressure digging action. The itch felt internal. I thought it was mental but I couldn't find the strength to stop. This year my Allergies were really bad. Flonase wasn't helping. Pills nothing. Went to doctor to get steroid shot they usually work but nothing. Doctor also prescribed Azelastine took awhile to pick it up. There was mix up with where it was sent.
m interested in hearing from anybody who has had similar symptoms, or a similar course of action before getting a diagnosis. I have never really heard of tinnitis or vertigo being symptoms of MS, and those are the main reasons I even started pursuing medical help to begin with. The doctors have ruled out some explanations (like the acoustic neuroma), but there are still other possibilities on the table (Meniere's disease, or even high blood pressure for example).

If your cough got better using it, maybe it was helping some allergy symptoms, like post-nasal drip.

s unfortunate when medication costs so much sometimes that we have to find an alternative. Flonase and Astepro are likely the right names. Flonase is a corticosteroid spray and Astepro is an antihistamine spray. Dymista is a combination medication so it makes sense that the doctor is suggesting the two medications will work as the Dymista did. Let us know how it goes.
I'm also taking Fluticasone Propionate and have the very same issue. I think it's because the nasal spray dries out the nasal cavity. At first, I started having bloody noses, but then that stopped and this current symptom started. My doctor had said it may make the nose very dry and to try saline solution once daily after the Flonase. I have yet to do that, but it's supposed to help. Hope that helps.
