In the mean time, another antibiotic and she renewed the Flonase (I decided to not take what she gave me or very little). Now, I have symptoms of Acid Reflux and I believe this is all due to the fact that I started something I never should have. I haven't been sleeping and don't know when I will. Very frustrated and not sure what to do. Seeing my primary on Monday to discuss what to do and if I should maybe take Prilosec to see if the Acid Reflux symptoms subside.

I was sent to a second endocrinologist that told me my issue is because of Flonase, I gained weight and that my pituitary tumor is only 3 mm and that it’s small and they would bet me it would go away in a year. I explained to the Dr that I only use Flonase during allergy season and we were still 3 -4 weeks away from that.

For about a month now I've had nose pain in my right nostril that causes forehead pain/pressure and pressure behind my eye and eyebrow. Usually, the pressure/pain stays on the right side, the side where my nose also hurts. I've looked at it and it appears the nasal turbinate is inflamed/irritated compared to the one in my left nostril. It does hurt to touch that side of my nose.

I've had an upper respiratory infection for about a week. Went to the doctor this morning with severe ear pain, no infection, just inflammation due to the other infection. Was recommended Flonase, rest, and fluids. After I came home and took the Flonase I've had this really weird fizzing sensation off and on at the back of my throat all day. It feels like a handful of poprocks are at the top of my throat/back of my mouth. It's a really weird suggestion.
I have what feels like a sinus infection trigerred by allergies which has lasted more than 15 weeks, My CAT scan is clear and i have been trying nasal spray, rinse and antihistamines since but nothing is working. I am allergic to dust and still feel sick when im not around it unlike before.My mood has been greatlt effected and i feel weird mentally and tired and irritable because of it too. what should i do next?
I was at a computer working on a research project and it scared me that I felt I was not breathing as much as I should. It was like a "shortness" of breathe. I take adderall, so I monitored my heart and pulse on it for two days and off it for three and everything turned out normal (76bpm 72/110 avg), so I ruled that out. I then realized that I can't breathe through my nose (DUH! :). I could breathe through my mouth just fine.
s unfortunate when medication costs so much sometimes that we have to find an alternative. Flonase and Astepro are likely the right names. Flonase is a corticosteroid spray and Astepro is an antihistamine spray. Dymista is a combination medication so it makes sense that the doctor is suggesting the two medications will work as the Dymista did. Let us know how it goes.
The doc said it was a virus with Eustachian tube dysfunction . Sge put me on Flonase The sore throat went awar but was left with a persistent cough for a week . I would wake up and it was so hard to swallow because the Mucus in my throat was so sick. After the cough subside I started to have throat pain again when I wake up then it would proceed to get better during the day and then towards the end of the day it's uncomfortable to say the least .
Have you been tested for any bacterial infections, like Strep throat? Bad smells are sometimes associated with bacterial infections. If it's not getting better, you should definitely go back to the doctor instead of self-medicating with Flonase. If it's not allergies, Flonase won't help and might make the situation worse.
t take really any allergy meds due to issues with tachycardia and palpitations. My doctor suggested Flonase, but I am allergic to sulfur (used a sulfur mask once and my whole face swelled huge, used to have to brush me teeth with sulfur water and my entire mouth would get blisters) and I noticed that Flonase contains sulfur in its makeup. Can I use it?
Flonase...isn't that addictive?? Just use a netti pot. I think there are low dose zinc lozenges and supplements. I'd get a 2nd opinion r research more, but imho & recent experience: sore throat came on and went away on its own. So how about just trying a little extra water and orange juice, or squeeze fresh lemon into warm or hot water? Would you give your baby flonase for stuffy nose? If not, don't use it for yourself either. Think about the fact that you can have a baby...
