ve read that 28 days is conclusive but my wife started having swollen Lumph nodes that were tender at 53 days and after reading about things like how biotin can effect results and how flonase can immunosuppress I am extremely scared that I might be having a false negative result. I did not have many symptoms a little diarrhea at day 16 and 53, maybe a little fever but a lot of anxiety and suicidal thoughts. I made a mistake and do not want to hurt my wife.
connection (sinus type issues, etc and anxiety)...there are a few mechanisms that would almost guarantee an anxiety response.
Depending on the severity of the infection you had.....simply your body trying to fight something off can produce anxiety...not to mention ANY type of shortness of breath....even if you didn't perceive it to be severe....can make one anxious...even without really thinking about it.
Whether that is what CAUSED the anxiety you are experiencing or not....
I generally take Flonase. About a week ago the allergies and sinuses really got a hold of me and i had horrible sinus pressure, felt really spacey, had ear fullness and pain, felt a little off but no ear infection. I got put on a antibiotic. I then just started the Flonase back up. One day i felt short of breath off and on. I also took a Zyrtec. I almost went to the hospital because i felt bad and felt like my allergies/ sinuses were causing it. I also have anxiety.

If your cough got better using it, maybe it was helping some allergy symptoms, like post-nasal drip.
Did you ask your doctor what he meant, or try to clarify anything? Always feel free to ask questions and clarify anything you don't understand with your doctor.
t look cancerous to her. she said try using Flonase as a steroid and or Bactaide on it. I did so for a few days then kind of forgot.
Upon finally inspecting it today, It looks like a cluster of 3 or so small white jagged firm peeks/lumps/bumps resembling either a cluster of something or a raised sore that cracked. It is almost pure white, but its in ways up my septum so its hard to see clearly. Most of the time it is not noticeable unless irritated.
ENT said eustachian tube dysfunction due to allergies (tested positive for various inhalent allergies) and said to use Xyzal and Flonase. Xyzal made me too sleepy so stopped, and Flonase has done nothing. ENT said it would take Flonase a month to clear up the ETD. The constant ear popping wouldn't bother me if it weren't accompanied by the lightheadedness and brain fog, which sometimes by the end of the day turns into a very bad headache and then disappears.

Twice in the last six months using Flonase my mouth filled with blood from sinuses. Is another medication for sinusitis available?
I've had an upper respiratory infection for about a week. Went to the doctor this morning with severe ear pain, no infection, just inflammation due to the other infection. Was recommended Flonase, rest, and fluids. After I came home and took the Flonase I've had this really weird fizzing sensation off and on at the back of my throat all day. It feels like a handful of poprocks are at the top of my throat/back of my mouth. It's a really weird suggestion.
I'm also taking Fluticasone Propionate and have the very same issue. I think it's because the nasal spray dries out the nasal cavity. At first, I started having bloody noses, but then that stopped and this current symptom started. My doctor had said it may make the nose very dry and to try saline solution once daily after the Flonase. I have yet to do that, but it's supposed to help. Hope that helps.
s unfortunate when medication costs so much sometimes that we have to find an alternative. Flonase and Astepro are likely the right names. Flonase is a corticosteroid spray and Astepro is an antihistamine spray. Dymista is a combination medication so it makes sense that the doctor is suggesting the two medications will work as the Dymista did. Let us know how it goes.
t think much of it because I used Flonase before with no issues but I wanted to see if this would be more effective.
After about a week of usage I started feeling "off". Every day it got worse and worse. I experienced head pressure (to the point I thought I had a brain tumor), mood swings (would just burst out crying for no reason), panic attacks, weird vision, vertigo, anxiety, depression, brain fog, etc. Just before all of this happened I was an incredibly happy, healthy person.
The folliculitis is limited to the scalp only. I am real curious about the Flonase use ,but also read of a connection toi high tryglycerides, which I do have a problem with.
No test have been done, saw family physician, she only suggested a dandruff shampoo. I have been using T- Gel and Demerex.
t take really any allergy meds due to issues with tachycardia and palpitations. My doctor suggested Flonase, but I am allergic to sulfur (used a sulfur mask once and my whole face swelled huge, used to have to brush me teeth with sulfur water and my entire mouth would get blisters) and I noticed that Flonase contains sulfur in its makeup. Can I use it?
My Dr has recommended I try singualr along with Allegra and flonase. He had told me the SIngulair will not make me feel funny, cause anxiety or heart palps etc...yet I see there are a lot of negative side effects. Does anyone have any experience on this medicine or just how safe it is?
First let me start that I have bad anxiety. Second I recently had thyroid biopsy and was told I have a "suspicious' 5mm nodule. But prior to that - for past few weeks I've had nonstop post nasal drip. Now my jaws top and bottom get achy at times and It sometimes travels down my neck. My throat feels irritated and when I eat it feels like a lump or tight. The thyroid is not causing this. I started Flonase a few days ago and Allegra.
Recently, I was having some breathing problems related to anxiety, but they went away about three weeks ago. This past week, the breathing problems have started up again. I have checked my temperature daily, and it is usually around 99.5, but has been as high as 100.5. When I woke up this morning and took a look at my throat using a flashlight, I noticed that it was quite swollen. I do have allergies, and the pollen count is fairly high, so that may be the cause.
started to get headaches and ears was clogged up with some numbness in face.. doctor told me to take some Flonase . And said I might need anxiety meds.. he told me he would run blood test just to see if he found anything there.. he said everything was good.. and he really thought I was crazy.. after a while symptoms died down and now they have came back last month.. now I’m freaking out.. knot in my neck and behind my ear never gets big at all then goes away especially the one in my neck..
I notice that the ingredient that in Flonase is the same (fluticasone propionate) as is found in Flovent..
It occurs to me that flonase might even work better because more of the stream of fluticasone propionate would hit the back of my throat and be swallowed, getting more to my esophagus and less to my mouth.
The key point though is I can get flonase inexpensively, whereas the flovent is more than I can easily afford.
Have you been tested for any bacterial infections, like Strep throat? Bad smells are sometimes associated with bacterial infections. If it's not getting better, you should definitely go back to the doctor instead of self-medicating with Flonase. If it's not allergies, Flonase won't help and might make the situation worse.
ALMOST LIKE I WAS GONNA PASS OUT IF I GOT UP. THEY PUT ME ON ZOLOFT AND SAID YOUR HAVING PANIC ATTACKS AND ANXIETY. I SAW MY DOCTOR THE NEXT DAY AND HE SAID HE THOUGHT SO TO. HE PUT ME ON VALUM AS WELL AS THE ZOLOFT. I TOOK BOTH FOR A WHILE AND IT JUST MADE ME FEEL MORE HIGH. ABOUT 2 WEEKS LATER HE TOOK ME OFF AND SAID I SHOULD BE FINE BUT I WASNT. THE DRUNK FEELING WAS HORRIBLE ALONG WITH OTHER THINGS.
IN THE PAST YEAR I HAVE BEEN TO THE HOSPITAL MANY TIMES.
t feel it when I put my finger up my nose only feel it when I scrunch my nose up or wiggle it. My dr also suggested not using my Flonase for a week or so that it might be causing the soreness and bump haven't used it in 2 days and starting to feel a little better.
Flonase...isn't that addictive?? Just use a netti pot. I think there are low dose zinc lozenges and supplements. I'd get a 2nd opinion r research more, but imho & recent experience: sore throat came on and went away on its own. So how about just trying a little extra water and orange juice, or squeeze fresh lemon into warm or hot water? Would you give your baby flonase for stuffy nose? If not, don't use it for yourself either. Think about the fact that you can have a baby...
