Avatar f tn It's ARC Fertility (www.arcfertility.com). I have not used it yet, but I will be. It's great because if you are using an RE that works with ARC, you can do a 1+, 2+, or 3+ cycle IVF package with the option for a refund if you do not have success with IVF. The + is FET, if you have embies to freeze. I would recommend calling them.
Avatar n tn Over the years we have helped with his control. He is now working at a stressful job in finance in NYC and lives with his girlfriend. He is currently taking 2 shots a day of Humilin Reg. and NPH. Over the last six months he has bottomed out at least 8 times usually at lunch time and the paramedics have had to be called to his workplace. Yesterday when they arrived his Blood Sugar was 19. It seems he drops so quickly that he is unable to treat himself by eating a snack.
Avatar n tn I have a bulging L5 - S1 that has been causing problems for just over a year now. I've had 4 epidurals, and have been taking pain pills daily. About 6 month ago I started getting really bad upper back spasms, I had an MRI, CT Scan, and Ultra Sound that all came back clear. I got another epidural about a month ago and the back spasms went away (they are starting to come back as the epidural is wearing off).
Avatar m tn I still suffer from excruciating cramp in my feet. Over the last 2 years I have built up the muscles in my feet and have increased flexibility with daily stretches and exercises but still suffer from painful cramp in my arches and toes. It seems to occur when my toes are pointed for long periods of time as I tend to tense my feet quite hard.
Avatar f tn I'm in the same boat. Me and my fiance just moved out a little less than a year ago, we are moving back to my parents because they have a huge house and only use one room. So that's going to save us money. I also just changed my medical insurance because I'm spending over $500 a month just to see an OBGYN, which could be going to the baby. Also, we put away like $10 every week to try and save up.
Avatar m tn I have flexibility issues in almost all of my joints (Knees, elbow, wrist, ankle). Coincidentally, all the joints in the right side of my body are worse. I cannot squat as the back of my feet cannot touch my butt, my hand cannot touch my shoulder, cannot do pushup as wrist will hurt a lot. I have done xrays but doctor said my xrays are fine. Went through physiotherapy but joints flexibility does not improve no matter how much i stretched.

Avatar n tn In cerebral palsy, the adductor muscles sometimes tighten up and some have surgery to cut them. Swimming is a non-surgical option that helps flexibility.
214105 tn?1265935159 The doctors said that the bones are pretty well aligned so non-surgical treatment is definitely an option but that surgery would speed the recovery and ensure correct healing. In reading about it, it seems that non-surgical treatment results in about a 9degree deformity. My question is what are the ramifications of that deformity? Does your arm look bent? Do you lose flexibility or range of motion?
Avatar f tn In other words, you have an ovary and no uterus? (Or, a uterus but no ovaries?) If you have a uterus but no ovaries, you could carry a baby if you got proper IVF help but would need a donor egg to use with his sperm. If you have one ovary and no uterus, your egg could be used to make an embryo with your husband's sperm, but you would need a gestational carrier ("surrogate mother") to carry the child.
Avatar m tn I am 39 years old working in a company in finance dept. Over the last 6 month i have been doing aerobics and yoga and feeling fit and fine throughout the day. However over the last three days i am feeling that there is problem in yawning where i try to complete it but could not do it. I have searched in google and understood that this could be due to anxiety. i know that in last three days there is some issue with me where i am concerned and thinking over this.
Avatar n tn My 80 year old mother had TKR surgery last week. She says when she stands or sits for any length of time, her foot hurts and she must lay down to relieve the pain. The doctor said this is typical because of blood rushing to the foot and recommended putting the support sock on. Has anyone else experienced this? Everyone is impressed with her flexibility and she's doing her exercises regularly but this pain has really gotten her concerned and regrets getting the surgery.
Avatar f tn We have a 5yr old lab/doberman mix. In July he "had a night out on the town" (escaped from the yard), and came back with a slight limp. We took him into the vet who said he probably overworked himself. It's now November and a couple of weeks ago he suddenly went lame. We thought maybe he had re-injured the same leg, so gave it a couple of weeks. It didn't get better so we took him to another, new, vet.
Avatar f tn It would be best to speak to a child psychiatrist who is knowledgable in the field. Cognitive behavioral therapy is one effective option in addition to medication.
Avatar m tn There was no need for any chemo or radiation since the tumor was well encapsulated. He engaged in all follow up tests and recent routine tests were all normal except his abdominal CT Scan showed some swelling in his bladder lining. All urine tests were normal - no signs of blood or infection...no sense of urgency to urinate or anything else unusual.
1609697 tn?1301069399 s hard when you have a boss that is not understanding and willing to work with you. The good news is that disability is an option and illnesses that were not approved in the past, are now being accepted. The number of people with these diseases must be rising and finally people are seeing that it would just be not physically possible and also unhealthy for people suffering with a chronic illness to push themselves and struggle through a work day. It's just no way to live.

Avatar f tn all of your pay goes untouched in that account, and within a few months to a year, you will have the money...some places finance with 1/2 down, so this is an option. Also, check out CARECREDIT...they could approve you for a card that will cover it...and they approve with low credit scores too...hope this helps.

Avatar m tn Hi Brad, I agree with nickppatel re the leg activity in water polo. I played water polo for 6 years in my late teens to early twenties (then joined the military) and I have a full understanding on the amount of leg work required just to play water polo, let alone being the goalie.
