My 14 month old boy was a preemie by 1 month. He is not walking yet and only babbles mama and dada. Also, when he gets excited, he bites the back of his hand very hard and throws his head forward. Although we can stop him from doing this if we intervene right away, it looks weird! Are these biting episodes and lack of walking and talking a sign of something wrong?

Thank you, but unfortunately due to scheduling issues I won't be able to take him to the ped for 2 weeks and am quite nervous in the meantime. Can u tell me if at 6 months all normal babies can mimic? Thanks.
Oh ok thanks so much ladies I just been wondering like when I would show and when the baby will be at the top of my tummy I want to buy a fetal doppler but I'm scared I would be able to tell the difference between my heartbeat and the baby....have you all ever tried it?
It's definitely better to go by weeks. If people ask just politely tell them weeks is more accurate and how many weeks you are.
Ask about being on progesterone your levels shouldn't drop they should be rising progesterone helps with that it's good for all around fetal development and it strengthens your uterus and cervix ask about it right away to see if that is an option for you good luck mama
I was always told it was ok, but now I hear that it's not. Best bet would be to ask ur doctor! To me it's not worth the risk of baby being born with fetal alcohol syndrome. To oppose what was said above me, alcohol won't cause down syndrome, that's a chromonal defect that happens at conception.
if fertilization and implantation take place, the placenta takes over progesterone production and in further maintaining a supportive environment for embryonic and fetal development. if fertilization does not occur, progesterone levels fall dramatically (usually after 10-12 days) resulting in your period.

The center indicated they tried to make him sit down, but he refused, so they allowed him to run around. My son seems to understand much of everything that you tell him (following directions). The center did an eval of him, but said sometimes the results can be skewed because the test was administered while other children were in the room. They had his emotional development at 11 months and cognitive at 12 months.
Prior to the next period dates I get all the pregnancy symptoms - temperature, eating extra, tiredness, sleeps, and feelings of fetal development especially when I bend, but still at the end the red robots mess up my hopes. Since after the miscarriage I haven't been getting any regular cycles - 25, 34, 25, 26, 27, 28, n stuff. Even my Periods are no longer regular - now last for 3days max and scanty. How can I conceive soonest pls.
