Avatar m tn What kind of foods cause a cloudy urine? Avoid drinking alcohol while taking fenofibrate. Alcohol can raise triglyceride levels, and may also damage your liver while you are taking this medication. Fenofibrate should not be used in cases of cirrhosis of liver, gall bladder disease and kidney disease. Also cloudy urine could be due UTI. So it is better you visit your doctor and get urine examination done along with ultrasound to determine any abnormality in the liver, kidney and gall bladder.

Avatar n tn After 7 years of therapy taking Crestor and Tricor (fenofibrate), I, too, started experiencing intense pain in my legs, feet, back, and arms. My Dr. took me off Crestor last month but the pain returned within a few days, although not as intense as it was prior to my stopping Crestor. I took myself off fenofibrate just a couple of days ago and "Wow" what a difference! I can actually sleep at night and notice that the pain is dissipating more and more each day.
Avatar n tn I've never heard of high serum cholesterol having any affect on a surgical procedure or the outcome. Having said that, if he's not on a statin they could put him on one before the surgery, if for no other reason then for it's anti-inflammatory properties. Either way, he needs to get the number down. To lower TGL's, cut out all empty carbs like breads, pastas and sugar and if he is a drinker, he needs to stop as alcohol metabolizes as sugar and has a huge impact on TGL's.

955035 tn?1246539172 Hello. I am new to this site and am hopeful to learn some more about my Hashimoto's. After several years struggling with anxiety & depression issues, I was diagnosed last August with Hashimoto’s at age 30. I am relieved to know that “I’m not crazy…but my thyroid is”; however I’m still struggling. I’m beginning to wonder if my DHEA-Sulfate level (which I believe is high) may indicate something going on with my adrenal glands in addition to the Hashimoto’s.
