If you develop any palpitations, trouble breathing (especially with mild exertion or when lying flat), nagging cough, fainting or near-fainting, crackly sounds when you breathe - get immediately to the ER. Whenever ladies mention a lot of swelling in
late pregnancy or within the first few postpartum months, I recommend they get familiar with peripartum cardiomyopathy signs because knowing them can save your life. Hopefully, it's just pregnancy hormones. Be well!
