Tried all kinds of creams etc. At one point I used a salicylic acid acne treatment on my face and it got Hard - I mean you could tap my cheeks and the skin was hard! I quit the acne wash and switched to a mild soap (dove) and a very light WATER BASED face moisturizer (neutrogena), I still have some folliculitis, but no more crust instead of skin! Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize - drink lots of water etc, etc - AND some folks like me (very fair skinned) have to avoid oil-based products.
I too am breaking out, luckily for me I am an esthetician.. I use all murad products and they work really well for me. I use an exfoliating acne treatment gel as well as a clarifying mask a couple times a week. It really works for me. If you want to try it out you can purchase the acne kit and test it out. I was in my bathroom when i noticed a bump on my face, kind of like a pimple on the inside of your skin, so i used my acne products and then i noticed a white spot sticking out from it. i kept rubbing it with an acne removal pad, and the white spot got bigger. now there is a white spot in the same place of the bump. Does anyone know what this is or how to fix it?!
I also have this white-yellowish thing that comes out of my face. I have used so many products and none have worked effectively. A week ago i had my first time visit to the dermatologist. He gave me Ginette 35 tablets, Epic wash and Skinoren. I'm dark in complexion and my skin tone is not even due to this acne espically my forehead. The dermatologist said my skin is too oily. I;m on my fourth day using the products. Has anyone ever used these products and could they cure my acne for good?
When I got to college freshman year, I began using clindamycin and retin-a-micro on my skin. I used no products on my hands and they became better. The facial products turned my face red and I began to get bad cystic acne on my face, right next to my nose and on the sides of my chin. A year or so later, I used accutane, but only for 3 months or so. The accutane reduced the cysts but made my skin very dry, particularly on my forehead and lips.
Hi well I've had alot of butt acne nd acne close to my chest lately and on my face too for a while now I was wondering if anyone could tell me a good dermatologist or doctor recommended product i can use to get rid of body acne.
I have terrible stress acne and then adding hormone acne on top my face was just terrible.
Both are great products and get rid of acne. Ive had a hard time with acne and sometimes still do but these products really work. Also, use a facial mask once or twice a couple weeks and an exfoliating scrub two to three times a week to get rid of dead skin cells. Use makeup that is good for your skin as well like bareminerals.
I'm almost 18 weeks pedant and have been dealing with some acne on my face for the last couple of weeks. It's getting worst, I want to buy acne medicine but is it safe to use while pregnant? I normally have really clear skin so I don't know what products are our there that are safe. I've been using my face wash like normal but doesn't seem to help. Thanks for any advice.
Anyone have any tips on how to calm breakouts. My face and back look terrible. Obviously many products are not safe and I already know to ask my doctor before I use any chemicals or natural remedies. Just wondering if anything has been approved for you and what you have tried that works. I wash my face twice a day and follow with moisturizer but my face is getting worse. I'm 12 weeks btw.
Im 16 years old and im not sexually active nor have i ever engaged in intercourse. For a while now I've noticed a red rash like mark by corner of my lower lip. Im fairly certain it isnt a rash because it does not itch, but it is very slightly bumpy similar to acne. I have been using face cleasning products and acne clearing products to get rid of at least some of my acne and I'm not sure if this would be the problem? Or what the mark is.
