Everyone was crying a few years ago because their IRA/401k was doing so poorly because stocks were down. Profits are up stocks are up, IRAs and 401ks are doing much better. Again Jobs lost are because WE are not buying American made products because we want things cheap yet demand high wages for basically unskilled work.
As far as taxing corporations go, corporations don’t pay taxes really, they do but the price of the tax is passed on to us directly in the cost of the goods and services.

It DOES seem to be a bit of a conflict of interest. As it stands now, not as much, but if she replaces Hillary, definitely more so.
I'm all for people being able to invest where they want, when they want...but if a person has a direct connection to how those stocks will perform, it's an issue.

Where stocks newborn and 0-3 month winter clothes in summer?? I'm due in Nov / Dec and want to buy when I find out what I'm having but it will be all summer stock in shops. I'm too excited to wait till winter stock comes in! Any ideas or do most shops stock it for people who will be having new babys??
A membrane sweep is when Dr goes in n stocks his fingers in like checking if u are dialating and then dr takes his fingers and sweeps it around the opening of the cervix. This is supposed to break the membranes and naturally induce labor. Its very painful and it did not bring on labor for me either pregnancy.
In terms of relative performance, Vertex was slightly up for the past year which puts it ahead of most stocks in this recessionary market. I also believe Vertex was Nasdaq's best performer for the first quarter of 09 and possibly the only Nasdaq stock showing a gain during that period.
