I would make sure that there isn't something going on at school that she fears so much, it makes her sick just to think about going. Then I would get her checked thoroughly as there is obviously something wrong.
I am diabetic using an insulin pen (not a syringe). A few hours after I started the treatment, I gave myself an insulin injection. I was traveling and didn't have a new needle, so I used the one I used before and left on the pen. It was more than 4 hours that i used this old needle on my insulin pen. Sorry, that was stupid. Say I was actually infected, would that mean I am having a 2nd exposure by my own possible infected blood, thus ruining my PEP?
Hi guys. I started taking Lexapro for my depression/generalized anxiety disorder about two years ago. For the first year, I took the drug every day as prescribed by the doctor. I didn't get any side effects which I thought was great. The drug wasn't of much help, though. A year ago, I decided to stop taking Lexapro on my own. I tried quitting it cold turkey but I wasn't able to follow through with it because of the withdrawal effects.
The reason being I went with my girlfriend to her pap appointment a few days ago (my gf is fully aware of my condition and so is her gyno)
Her doctor mentioned that there are some treatments that can be taken once a week, and that it is just another form of valtrex.
Does this mean it would be a higher doseage as opposed to the 500mg x 2 for 3 days that I take?
Last week we were fooling around and he rubbed his pen*s against my vagi*a now it did not go in but was rubbing againt the lips? can hiv be transmitted that way?
Secondly they say that HIV is transmitted through unprotected sex what if a guy was to insert his pen*s into me the once is that classed as sex and is there any risk involved in that? does the guy have to be wet. Im sorry if this sounds stupid but i am a little curious.
how many units per day are you shooting? take that number and divide into the capacity of the pen and you have your answer.
I have done a internal check on myself, and it came back once with a very very small clot (like the size of the metal part on an ink pen refill), and it has been pink or light brown and kinda stringy...
I've also been getting headaches (migraines even, at times) just about every night for about a week. From 9/25-now I've been very nauseated and even vomitted a few times. My bb's are a little sore as are the nipples, I can't stand cheese cubes, and those are typically my fav.
Thx for your response OrionB. it was not a single used finger prick lancet, it was a reuse finger prick pen (diabetes finger prick pen which is able to be used for more than once). After my 3 month test, if its negative i will not think about this anymore, cause i will do test in the hospital again not NGO to make sure that everything they use is new. And i hope that all this symptoms are the effect of my anxiety.
I found out those lancets they use can only be used once, they are designed that way. Once you "spring" it, it can not be used again. Go to a drug store, but a packet of the same lancets you saw and if you do not believe me, try it for yourself!
I don't get a red blotch. I use a Redi pen and one time I had what seemed a little more than a "dribble" leak out and it kept bothering me everytime I thought about it, so I had an extra syringe so I did it, was only going to do a few drops, but wound up doing the whole shot. But anyhow as I said, I don't get the red blotch - can't remember if I got blotchy the first tx, but this tx I haven't.
