Avatar n tn Exelon patch is on back order from the manufacturer until October 24. What alternatives are there?
Avatar n tn My husband has been prescibed the the 9.5 exelon patch but we still have a supply of the 4.6 patches. With them being so expensive can I use two of the 4.6 patches at the same time until we run out?
Avatar n tn She has since tested negative for H Pylori, and has been taken off Razadyne(24 mg ) for memory problems, put on Exelon (6mg patch), then taken off it after two weeks and more nausea. She has been off the Exelon patch for 72 hours, and still experiences nausea when she moves about. Still puzzling and frustrating. doctors are stumped (still) and I am feeling worthless because I cannot help her kick the nausea or find the cause. Really looking for help here. Any will be gratefully accepted.
Avatar f tn t calming her down any, and she did not refil the prescription. 2 months later she had another bad dream and the doctor was notified. He then prescribed exelon. My question: If she does not have Alzheimer's disease, why would he prescribe either of these medicines for her? If this is dimentia, aren't there other drugs out there for that or even drugs that have a claming effect? From what I have read about excelon, I am not sure if it is compatible with her heart medication.

She has been off the Exelon patch for 72 hours, and still experiences nausea when she moves about. Recently, she started back on the lower dose of Razadyne. Her neurologist doesn't think the medicine is the cause of the nausea, though it could be aggrivating whatever is causing it.

697970 tn?1228074272 t no and go to askapatient.com and search for reviews there , I have seen 13 emsam reviews so far on that site . Dr Burns book "THE FEELING GOOD HANDBOOK" has also helped me . Remember always combine drug therapy with cbt and talk therapy . Don't worry you will feel better soon I can see that .
Avatar n tn m going to start using but obviously ween myself off them in next few weeks has any one heard any bad reviews about using these patches so early into pregnancy ?
Avatar m tn can i combine 225mg. of effexor xr with exelon or dexamphetamine to help my sedated or lethargic condition?
Avatar f tn how often do you change the patch though?
Avatar n tn It would be helpful if the Exelon Patch advertisers didn't feel it was necessary to have their information on continual scroll. There is a reason why I don't read rolling credits at the end of a movie, too. They usually roll too fast to read and simply hurt my head and can trigger migraines. Most of the time I don't see rolling adds, but when I do, I'm put off. Uh...I did not search for anything that would have had anything to do with this particular advertiser.
Avatar f tn I feel at such a loss in trying to help my Mother. I've gone back to Neurologist and am awaiting his advise, but he doesn't appear to be emphathetic to this issue. Her GP defers to the neurologist. My 81 yr old Mother in middle to late stage Alzheimer's. She is not on any anti-anxiety med except for Paxil which was prescribed about a month ago. She gets aggitated during the day at times and especially sundowners time.

1735424 tn?1357433558 I had some gastro pain a couple of weeks after vic was introduced (week 10), this resolved after a couple of weeks. HGB, Platelets, WBCs and ANC were all normal prior to tx and became quite low. Rescue drugs were necessary to keep going. I was in a trial and completed a 43 week tx 6 months ago. It was tough but ok as I pretty much expected. Good luck with your treatment, what week are you in?
Avatar m tn re small. The surgery performed is a Dor procedure, in which the aneurysm is opened and patch is sewn inside to protect the site of the aneurysm. Then, the aneurysm is closed back up. It's a procedure that has been performed much more in adults than in kids, though, in hearts that have different problems, so you cannot extrapolate adult data and adult heart problems to that of kids. Unfortunately, there is essentially no research that reviews this data in children, from what I can find.
Avatar f tn Welcome....How old is your lab? This doesn't look anything like normal dry skin to me.....In your photo, where is this patch & how large is it? There seems to be thinning hair all around this lesion.....Is this the tummy or the rear? What are you feeding??? What food did you try? Can you get another photo from further back? I personally think this looks serious and needs to be addressed by his Vet. Let us know....
Avatar f tn Thanks for your helpful suggestions. I have begun physical therapy and will be doing that three times a week for 2-4 weeks. It's demanding, but I'm willing to do what it takes to register improvement. My MD prescribed the transdermal Lidocaine patch. I used it once, last night, and I'm giving it mixed reviews. The patch somewhat relieved pain, but the spasm in the soft tissue and muscle continues, so a cold pack did just as well to relieve that.
Avatar m tn Hi, I am 19 and I've been in a relationship with my current boyfriend for almost 2 years. We have been sexually intimate since the beginning of our relationship, and our sex life used to be great. In the past few months, however, I believe i have been suffering from some form of Vaginitis that has been making sex very uncomfortable for me.
