Avatar n tn She has since tested negative for H Pylori, and has been taken off Razadyne(24 mg ) for memory problems, put on Exelon (6mg patch), then taken off it after two weeks and more nausea. She has been off the Exelon patch for 72 hours, and still experiences nausea when she moves about. Still puzzling and frustrating. doctors are stumped (still) and I am feeling worthless because I cannot help her kick the nausea or find the cause. Really looking for help here. Any will be gratefully accepted.
Avatar f tn t calming her down any, and she did not refil the prescription. 2 months later she had another bad dream and the doctor was notified. He then prescribed exelon. My question: If she does not have Alzheimer's disease, why would he prescribe either of these medicines for her? If this is dimentia, aren't there other drugs out there for that or even drugs that have a claming effect? From what I have read about excelon, I am not sure if it is compatible with her heart medication.

She has been off the Exelon patch for 72 hours, and still experiences nausea when she moves about. Recently, she started back on the lower dose of Razadyne. Her neurologist doesn't think the medicine is the cause of the nausea, though it could be aggrivating whatever is causing it.
237039 tn?1264258057 I also switched to nitro spray which is less fragile than sublingual tabs and it saves a few seconds from unscrewing the tab bottle and it easy to see how much is left. Watch the expiration date also. Sorry for your miserable 20 minutes. Joan.

1658626 tn?1302456819 I find that I have been replacing the patch every two days, which results in running out. I try to tell myself that I am going to run out, but I do it anyway - Is this normal, or am I crazy? I don't like the addiction, the strongest meds I took before the patch was ibuprofen. I had surgery on my neck in 2008 and it seems to have created new equally as painful issues.

Avatar m tn can i combine 225mg. of effexor xr with exelon or dexamphetamine to help my sedated or lethargic condition?
Avatar n tn It would be helpful if the Exelon Patch advertisers didn't feel it was necessary to have their information on continual scroll. There is a reason why I don't read rolling credits at the end of a movie, too. They usually roll too fast to read and simply hurt my head and can trigger migraines. Most of the time I don't see rolling adds, but when I do, I'm put off. Uh...I did not search for anything that would have had anything to do with this particular advertiser.
Avatar n tn Most everything lasts a while past expiration before deterioration, including food. Expiration dates have a margin of safety built in. That being said, the above is true, but vitamins usually have way more that anyone needs in them so a little deterioration in potency isn't that big a deal depending on why you're taking them. After all, much of them just goes down the toilet anyway, so again, a margin of safety is built in there, too.
152264 tn?1280354657 There should be an expiration date on the package--if its expired then I would not use it; pesticides can break down and become less effective or more toxic with time.

Avatar f tn I feel at such a loss in trying to help my Mother. I've gone back to Neurologist and am awaiting his advise, but he doesn't appear to be emphathetic to this issue. Her GP defers to the neurologist. My 81 yr old Mother in middle to late stage Alzheimer's. She is not on any anti-anxiety med except for Paxil which was prescribed about a month ago. She gets aggitated during the day at times and especially sundowners time.
Avatar n tn Yes, a PFO can cause fatigue as the blood/oxygen level pumped into circulation may be compromised. More likely, the cause of being tired can be related to low blood sugar and anemia.
Avatar n tn These were precribed to me but I noticed the bottle expiration date is 10/2008. I have almost full bottles so I haven't thrown them out. Can I consider these safe? My husband says yes.
Avatar m tn s VSD could get smaller with time if the echocardiogram is accurate. The patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) and patent foramen ovale (small ASD) are normal in newborns, and close up over weeks to months. Therefore, if your child is feeding and growing well, no medications are currently warranted. Surgery in the first year of life is only indicated for patients who fail to thrive despite medications, or have pulmonary hypertension (elevated lung artery pressure) due to the VSD.
