t calming her down any, and she did not refil the prescription. 2 months later she had another bad dream and the doctor was notified. He then prescribed exelon.
My question: If she does not have Alzheimer's disease, why would he prescribe either of these medicines for her? If this is dimentia, aren't there other drugs out there for that or even drugs that have a claming effect? From what I have read about excelon, I am not sure if it is compatible with her heart medication.

Her neurologist doesn't think the medicine is the cause of the nausea, though it could be aggrivating whatever is causing it.

can i combine 225mg. of effexor xr with exelon or dexamphetamine to help my sedated or lethargic condition?
The open dura decompression although more invasive is more likely to provide benefits where the other less invasive method that does not open the dura tends to have very short lived benefits if there are any..
EDS must be known b4 surgery...if one has Chiari using their own tissue for a dura patch is best...the other types of dura plasty patch could cause the body to reject it so bovine, cadaver and synthetic are not the best for EDSers...
It would be helpful if the Exelon Patch advertisers didn't feel it was necessary to have their information on continual scroll. There is a reason why I don't read rolling credits at the end of a movie, too. They usually roll too fast to read and simply hurt my head and can trigger migraines. Most of the time I don't see rolling adds, but when I do, I'm put off. Uh...I did not search for anything that would have had anything to do with this particular advertiser.
I feel at such a loss in trying to help my Mother. I've gone back to Neurologist and am awaiting his advise, but he doesn't appear to be emphathetic to this issue. Her GP defers to the neurologist. My 81 yr old Mother in middle to late stage Alzheimer's. She is not on any anti-anxiety med except for Paxil which was prescribed about a month ago. She gets aggitated during the day at times and especially sundowners time.
Never had a problem until now. He started with temp memory loss and the doctor put him on 2 Exelon Patches per day to help him with the memory loss and also he now on Oxcarbazepine 300 mg. My question is with him taking these two type of medications he is still having seizure and cant sleep. Me as a mother do know what to think and do to help him. Can someone help me with this.
there are different types....one is more invasive where the dura is opened and a patch is placed, and some bone is removed from C1 and C2.....
Also, do you know if she has any related conditions?

The wart is gone but I am left with a mild but still noticeable white/pink patch of skin and a round slightly depressed/smooth/lighter colored pockmark with edges that appear unnatural. It has been about 6 months since the incident and still scarring and hypo-pigmentation remains.

I will have to decided in a little less than a month whether or not I will ask to be taken off the Duregisic Patch and switched into something else. Since I last came here, I discussed with my PCP the possibility of doing this. I was told that the procedure would be to switch me out suddenly. By that I mean they would stop the duregisic patch and switch me to Mscontin without any weaning of the duregisic.
