Avatar f tn t calming her down any, and she did not refil the prescription. 2 months later she had another bad dream and the doctor was notified. He then prescribed exelon. My question: If she does not have Alzheimer's disease, why would he prescribe either of these medicines for her? If this is dimentia, aren't there other drugs out there for that or even drugs that have a claming effect? From what I have read about excelon, I am not sure if it is compatible with her heart medication.
Avatar f tn Start by calling your local department of human services office they can help you with food, medical card, and you should be eligible for cash assistance. It's not much but it definitely helps when you have nothing!!! Also find out if you have a pregnancy resource center they can help with all kinds of things also! I wish you the best of luck :( sorry to hear this!!!!
Avatar n tn Hi Yan, Welcome to the Pain Mangement Forum. I worked extensively with International Students at my last position for may years. I know the challenges you face when coming to our country especially with health care. Have you contacted your sponsoring agency? Not the one that employees you but the agency that helped you to come to the USA? They should be able to assist you in any health related issues. Also see your employer's Human Resource Department. They should be your advocate.

She has been off the Exelon patch for 72 hours, and still experiences nausea when she moves about. Still puzzling and frustrating. doctors are stumped (still) and I am feeling worthless because I cannot help her kick the nausea or find the cause. Really looking for help here. Any will be gratefully accepted.

Avatar m tn Have you called your insurance and asked them if they have a program? Or your human resource department? Walmart has the cheapest gum. I know the 4mg and 2mg are priced differently but I think they are around $30 for 120 pieces? I agree with Kathy Jo though, I know people who have been chewing the gum for years: gave up one addiction for the other. Good luck to you. Keep reaching out to others for support. This is essential for me in my quit.
