estradiol with progesterone

I am a 25 year old female, I had a saliva hormone kit evaluated with testosterone, DHEA, estradiol, and progesterone, also progesterone/estradiol ratio done. The results came back as this, Estradiol- normal Progesterone- Low; 47.2 (range of 127-446) Ratio of Progesterone to estradiol - 33.0 Low; (range of 200-600) Testosterone- 83.5 High; (range of 6.0-49) DHEA- 366.7 High- (range of 106-300) I can tell that i have way higher 'male hormones' than the women's hormones but, why?

In the past three days my beta increased from 186 to 534, but my progesterone and estradiol both dropped. Progesterone went from 93 to 73.3 and estradiol went from 520 to 503. Should I be concerned? I'm 15 days post-transfer. Thanks.

I am almost 37 years old and doing a hormonal profile this month (b/w every other day, basically!!) I had Estradiol draws pre-o, and now Estradiol and Progesterone draws post-o! On Peak +3, my Estradiol was 70 (went from 104 to 323 to 70) and my progesterone was 5.8. It is only 3DPO, but I am trying to get an idea of whether it's a 'good' number or not - Any help will be appreciated!!!!

Tested for FSH, Estradiol, Progesterone, Prolactin, and TSH. I need help understanding the implications of my results which I think indicate an imbalance. How long after a confirmed pregnancy are you suppose to continue taking Estradiol? Just read on the internet that it can cause birth defects and I can't reach my doctor to confirm this.

Only saw that level with more then one baby! It goes up with pregnancy and higher with multipes. Best of Luck!

I need some feedback on my hormone levels since this hormone testing is new to me. I haven't heard from my OB, but this is what my Progesterone and Estradiol levels are according to my family doc: tell me what you think ON CD10 taken February 24 Progesterone level is 0.7 Estradiol level is 1.71 What this means...I have absolutely no clue. I tried reading on it, and it seems as if I should not have tested on CD10. I should have tested on CD 3....is this correct?

8 or 7.9mm today, and my doc said that I can start the progesterone (as well as continue with 6mg of estradiol). Does this sound about right? I've heard that the lining should be at least 8mm, and I'm wondering if 0.2mm makes a big impact. They plan to do the transfer on Tuesday. (today is Friday). I am really stressing. My progesterone has gone up each time. I am taking 2 mg Estradiol 3 times per day and am now on the patches changing them every day. Any ideas? Does this mean I am not pregnant?

m sweating I wake up and then I start sweating. She put me on progesterone (50 mg) with 5 mg of DHEA. I recently did a thyoid panel and the TSH was 3.74 so she started me on 30 mg of NP thyroid.I started that on Friday morning.I am also on 1 mg estradiol vaginal inserts 3x a week. I am not waking up and then sweating but I wake up and get warm and clammy. Its very frustrating but noone else has had any ideas on what is the cause.

I am on 200 mg prometrium /5 mg estradiol, and metformin as well as tirosint. The prometrium and estradiol is for hot flashes. The metformin for prediabetes, couldn't get my a1c down, and tirosint for thyroid disease. My question is this...the prometrium and estradiol are causing my blood sugars to stay high, as well as make me very tired, as well as making me gain weight. I walk briskly at least 1 hour to 1 1/2 hour daily. I watch what I eat, low sugars, etc.

I've been on a 91-day pill for a couple of months now. I'm 42 and started the pill to help regulate my heavy periods, shrink my uterus and possibly manage my polyps. After the first four weeks, my period couldn't be suppressed, showed up with a vengence and I think I'm on the other side of the massive bleeding and tissue breakdown. My gyn instructed me to double my pills (twice daily) until the bleeding stops completely. I've been on the double dosage for close to five weeks.

got my results from my bw yesterday. progesterone is 75.16 and estradiol is 1900. nurse said numbers are looking really good and producing on my own. soo nervous and excited at the same time to find out. this is my 1st medicated cycle and hoping it worked, but not expecting it to. having cramps off and on so hope its implantation and not af. so on feb 27th i will have progesterone and estradiol rechecked and then quantitative pg test. fingers and toes crossed. gl to all those waiting and SSBD.

And for women who do not have ovaries (such as myself) apparently there is the lack of an enzyme that would effectively utilize the progesterone. I recall reading that for women who suffered with severe PMS while having regular cycles the use of Progesterone is very helpful. I guess I would say don't totally dicount the use of Estradiol (in the form of a patch...either Vivelle or Climara) in the future.

Here are my results: FSH first test: 6.2 second test: 6.8 LH first test: normal apparently, but I didn't see what exactly it was second test: 7.9 Estradiol first test: not sure, but normal apparently second test: 52 I'm a little concerned about the estradiol. She told me that I am suppose to get my periods within 3 to 7 days after I finish this medicine. Today is the 14th day but still I did not get my periods. I want to ask what can be the reason.
