Avatar n tn By December 2007 she was diagnosed with spots in her spine and ribs. By January 2008 she was diagnosed with spots on her brain. She is unable to breathe without oxygen and has been at home since February 2008 on 24 hour oxygen. She has a vile cough that is persistent. She coughs all day long - a raspy fruity cough. She is also in considerable pain behind one of her breasts which is larger than the other one. Apparently the cancer in her rib has caused a break or fracture in this rib.
Avatar n tn This resembles acne and primarily involves the face and neck. It is self-limited and resolves in the majority of cases, even with continued use. Interestingly, some clinical studies have indicated a correlation between the severity of the skin reactions and increased survival though this has not been quantatively assessed.
Avatar f tn t know the details, but it is past the operating stage. My parents live in Jordan and they have just returned from a trip to Israel to see a doctor. Now my father is going to get treatment of I think Chemo pills in Jordan. I am very skeptical, and correct me if I am wrong, but (financial obstacles aside) would it not improve all chances considerably if my Father were to go to somewhere more advanced like Mayo Clinic or any of the top rated Clinics around the world to get treated there?

1678656 tn?1369233818 I've been having this itchy sensation on my head and neck that is just getting worse! Have had it for a couple weeks now and I keep waking my husband up at night for him to check for bugs...every time, no bugs! So, I went with him to his GP appointment and had her look at my head to see if there was anything she knew of. Again, no bugs. Haven't changed shampoos or laundry soap or anything. Nothing new introduced to my body, either.

Avatar n tn I would suggest you to do some neck exercises every day, maintain a good posture while sitting and make sure your head and neck are well supported when lying down. Other possibilities like cervical spine stenosis, disc herniation or prolapse also need to be ruled out. I would suggest you to get a clinical exam done if the pain persists even after correcting the posture because then the possibility of sinusitis and neuralgias also should be looked into.
670954 tn?1225745204 It feels as if I constantly need to crack my neck, shoulders and wrists, which results in me tilting my head back and forth excessively and stretching my arms and wrists out. About 8 years ago I went to my family doctor for an opinion. The blood work came back normal and I was told that it may just be a habit. Today the neck pain is accompanied with sporadic quick sharp pains in my temples and severe headaches after naps that rather quickly subside.

Avatar f tn Hello, I have a clinical dx of lyme disease and experiencing mostly neurological symptoms. I am experiencing a lot of head and neck tremors and wanted to know if anyone else was going through the same thing. The tremors are not noticeable to anyone other than myself. I notice them quite a bit at night, especially when I lie down and when I go to bed. At first I thought they were positional, but I don't really think so. I have my headphone set on right now and it is trembling a little bit.
Avatar n tn I've been having a similar problem for 10 years now. I'm only 30. I spend a good proportion of my day just trying to relax the muscles in my neck shoulders, face, chest, back, leg. I know that it comes from the mucles in the and around the scapula. I've visited a lot of docs and chiro and osteo and physio. I know that it gets worse when I'm stressed. Nothing so far has got rid of it. I have just found a new place in south London run and owned by an osteo surgen.
Avatar f tn Wash hair and scalp thoroughly with a mild shampoo and 2% hydrogen peroxide solution. Compress the hair and scalp with potassium permanganate in a 1:5000 dilution, to completely oxidize the PPD. A wet dressing of olive oil and lime may be used. Corticosteroid cream can also be applied. Also consult your doctor immediately regarding this. Take care!
1965350 tn?1325714813 My head and neck twitch when I get surprised or nervous, or if I know people are looking at me. This doesn't help since my chemistry teacher put us into pairs and I was moved from my seat in the very back to the middle with most of the mean people behind me D:. I've read numerous blogs on this but as far as I know, no one has found an answer other than taking meds which would make things worse.
Avatar m tn I have had a headache for the past 10 years straight. It has never gone away. 3 years ago I found a osteoma in my sinus. I had the bony tumor removed, thinking it would get rid of the headaches. It made them worse. Now I don't know what is causing my head and neck pain. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
