Common Questions and Answers about Epzicom skip dose

epzicom

Avatar n tn I personally would not skip a dose until I was certain what the study person said. Meanwhile, I am not quite sure I understand how your study is structured. In your other post you indicated that you could be randomized to continue rib and peg for another 12 weeks or discontinue all meds. So I guess this means you treat the next 12 weeks on Peg and Riba (???) . Do you happen to know if there is a placebo in this study?
Avatar m tn Jon, I would suggest you call the manufacturer's hotline and talk this over with them. However, we also know their answer will be to not skip a dose. I'm on copax so am of no help to you. I trust someone else will have some advice for you. Happy Holidays! Lulu PS are those side effects that bad that you want to skip a dose?
1504778 tn?1321394645 Take the missed dose as soon as you remember it. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one. You could always look at the label to see what it says, or check the manufacturer's website - not sure what the maker is of your script it should show on your bottle.
Avatar f tn You don't need to take anything for your head other than maybe an aspirin or Tylenol. You're suffering withdrawal possibly, that's what happens when you skip a dose. You'll be fine. But it's good in the long run because now you know what your doctors probably didn't tell you, which is that if you choose to stop taking these drugs do it slowly and safely.
Avatar f tn No, if he missed a dose yesterday, then he missed that dose. Do not try to make it up today. Ribavirin has a long half life so his blood level should be okay as long as he does not keep missing doses.
Avatar n tn i meant to write that i missed a dose of active pill about a week in and im not sure if that means that my period will come whether i skip the inactive pills or not
429432 tn?1343594190 Start again with your normal dose....don't skip tomorrow. if you missed a dose you wouldn't double-dose next dosing time would you??? it's the same thing.
Avatar f tn I started taking YAZ 5 1/2 weeks ago and was told by my doctor that I could not take the placebo pills and continue through with the regular pills so that I could skip my period that was scheduled to happen while on vacation. I am scheduled for my vacation in 8 days and yesterday started my period even though I am taking the pills with no missed dose and no white ones. Its more than spotting, more like a somewhat light period.
Avatar m tn just one missed dose will do nothing, i also remember tdf halflife is very long so even a missed dose is safer on this drug
Avatar n tn Thank you all of you! I had decided to skip that day just in case so did not double up. Happy Holidays!
Avatar m tn You may want to consider taking an aspirin a day (low/partial dose of full dose) to gain a small measure of protection. I take my 1/2 regular aspirin in the morning with breakfast. My stomach doesn't have any problems with aspirin, yet.
Avatar m tn I think your plan is just fine. All medication can stand a slight slip, even a miss and not cause serious problems. I think this is especially true of extended release as they do not have one powerful kick following by a decline. As for a couple of hours I'll offer it isn't the best, but not a big issue/problem That's how I see it.
Avatar m tn walgreens almost always are open 24 hours a day and can answer questions like yours. as trival as it may seem to skip a dose...you still have to understand that the vast majority of people in this forum aren't qualified in any way to answer that question.
601210 tn?1302656652 Hi all, Last week my son's neutraphils went down to .44, so the nurse called and said to skip last Friday's interferon shot. When I asked about the extra shot to help boost the white cells instead I was told it takes too long and that is what the Dr's told her to skip the weekly interferon. My son is on his 36th week. I am worried about skipping the whole week, we are to retest levels tomorrow, Wednesday.
Avatar n tn does anyone else get this....they happen around period time....and sometimes after....my heart will go skip beat skip beat skip beat skip beat...for like 10 to 15 seconds...it's really slow...not a fast skip beat skip beat...but it's very annoying...
Avatar f tn If the expired drug was no longer an effective dose then it would be like skipping a dose. People skip a dose now and then for all sorts of reasons.
Avatar m tn Maybe go for the afternoon dose or morning dose but skip one give yourself a few days and try only your dose at night if you can. You might have a problem with sleep after you finally drop your dose at night FYI. Good luck you can do it!!

470964 tn?1240246255 If you miss a dose of Zoloft , take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once. If you're still in doubt, call either pharmacy or your dr's office.
338734 tn?1377160168 Dr. Dieterich, Thank you in advance for supporting this forum with your expertise. I am geno 1, a liver TP recipient (9/07), on SOC TX post TP and had an partial EVR to SOC (-2log drop in VL at 12 weeks). I have finished 49 of 72 weeks currently. Due to a stroke (TIA) a couple of days ago, my liver doc wants me to take a "drug holiday" and skip this week's Pegasys dose. I am reluctant to do this will comply.

Avatar m tn Obviously it would be hell for the day and night. Staying @ 4 15mg for a while. Skip a day then two? Does this make any sense? Any advice would be great!
Avatar f tn Are you supposed to skip your thyroid meds the day of testing? I have added a T3 med to my T4 and had a test after 8 weeks. My FT3 was 3.5 (up from 2.4), FT4 was1.46 (up from 1.26), and TSH was 0.10 (down from 1.7 where it has been for years. No one said not to take my meds before the test, so I took them. My PCP kept me on 0.88 T4 but tried to get me to skip the T3 two days/week.
