Epipen for dogs

Common Questions and Answers about Epipen for dogs

Avatar f tn I need to have the epipen before this happens, or I go into a coma. But I think it can be different for different people. Panic attacks can be caused by allergies, so can pseudo heart attacks, but if they continue while you haven't eaten any of your known allergens they might be to something you don't know about - a friend of mine gets panic attacks as a reaction to preservatives!
753096 tn?1233585936 So...for the last...I don't know, 3 years...I've had this on-again/off-again allergic reaction to I don't know what. (I should get tested for allergies, I know) but I can't figure out if it's my make-up or my cat. I've always thought it was my mascara or something but I moved four months ago from a house with one cat to a house with five cats and the reaction is coming around more often. It used to go away for months at a time and within the last four months here, it's happened three times.
Avatar f tn It also happend when I went to the dentist for a filling. Immediately after she injected me, my lips and tongue started swelling up, and I again had trouble breathing. I also couldn't swallow.
219704 tn?1338612705 Xanax for quick relief and short duration, and Valium for long action...for those really bad days. You know the kind...when your hearts flopping around like some fish out of water every other beat or your having those nasty little runs that make you gasp, grab your wrist to check your pulse, followed by hours of full fledged panic. My obsession and fear of the arrhythmia's and my attention to every heartbeat, slowly bled into other health issues.
Avatar n tn Have had almost every test possible for blood, looking at in depth blood panel for RA, Srodgren's, Lupus, etc. also had spinal, and evoked potentials for MS. Only things showing up after 3 full years is slightly low IGG and Cortisol just recently. Also, a slight elevation in protien in urine which is so low, sometimes it's there, sometimes not, for past 2 years. Plus tested positive for Lymes Disease on ELISA, but showed no Bands. Do have about 5-7 Brain lesions in white matter.
Avatar n tn I used homeopathic drops for cat dander and then tested negative for cats years later. I never had the allergy shots for cat dander either !
Avatar n tn Here I go again--sorry, but I need your help. After being on antibiotics for 8 days after going to ER, my pain has let up considerably. Now, it just feels more like an achy/pulling feeling in my left side and groin area, but tha is starting to intensify again, too.
Avatar f tn As a result, we have limited her diet to anything that is not a common allergen. Still they continue to appear. We also have three dogs and as a result, sent her to my parents house where they have none to see if that could be it-still has hives. We notice the only pattern is that she gets them shortly after taking a nap or while she is sleeping. The hives are covering her body (head, face, neck, arms, back, stomach, thighs, ankles, heels). We don't know what to do.
Avatar n tn As I was going through my detox (and totally freaking out) my Dr. gave me a medicine called Neurontin also know as Gabapentin. This is an anticonvulsant (epilepsy) med. But it has A LOT of "off- label" use. It is generally a safe drug to take. No high, no addiction. I have been taking it for a couple weeks. I did stop for 2 days but started again because I found I felt worse without it. The bad thing is it can make you have a little vertigo or stagger.
544292 tn?1268886268 I've been feeling like I was going crazy for a long time. And in addition to that; the scary suicidal ideation. The suicidal ideation vanished and returns ONLY if I get a flare up of withdrawal symptoms. That happens if I get over stressed. So i need some coping mechanisms. At the moment; "I am STILL ALVE!?" Is a pretty good coping mechanism! :) Love and healing, Emily PS. No Tramadol Withdrawal symptoms today .... :) YAY!
Avatar n tn It might be bad for a week and go away for a month, or vice versa. It seems to be worse when the weather is hot or dry, but sometimes that makes no difference. And sometimes it cracks so badly it bleeds, like chapped lips. I went to my doctor and he said that I had a "skin condition." I'd never wanted to beat someone so badly. That's like diagnosing somebody in the ER as "sick" or having some sort of "wound." He gave me fluorometholone ophthalmic ointment.
Avatar f tn She said that all the indigenous people do parasite cleanses, she says you worm your dogs why don't you do it for yourself. She claims everyone in the world has parasites, when your body get so full of parasites, then they can come out through the skin, cause all kind of diseases. You must do a parasite cleanse, then take a dose of the three products one a week to keep the parasites out of your body. I think this would be a good thing for all of us to do. Then go from there if necessary.
Avatar n tn I have had hives for almost three years now. Every antihistimine and stomach pill (that has a histimine blocker) has been tried. The only relief I have gotten was when I went on Cyclosporine for six moths. This is an antirejection drug. I do not want to stay on this, but have been off of it for five months now, and hives are starting to return. Sometimes they are red splotches on my skin, other times they are thick welts, both itch unreal. My eyes, lips and feet swell also.
Avatar n tn he can tell 2 days away if the weather is going to dramatically change - and here in texas that happens a lot. trust me, its awful for him. once the weather settles down, he's back to normal. only the barometric change does anything to him. you're not alone in this, and nothing - not any medication on the market, rx or otherwise, puts a dent in his reaction.
530191 tn?1214166411 This is the use of Plaquenil, a drug originally used for malaria. In a recent trial 83% improved or cleared completely when used for three months or more. ref:http://www.aocd.org/skin/dermatologic_diseases/urticaria.html Hope you are better informed about your condition and find it useful.
Avatar n tn If it's an allergy (for me) I think it might be to MSG, if it's an intolerance (again for me) at the moment I'm thinking it's to very fatty foods. It's always worse when I'm stressing about something. Does any of that apply to you? You can get IBS tabs over the counter (we can here in UK anyway). Or you might want to try testing out foods to see if you are allergic/intolerant. It's a pain to do this (I keep meaning to, but haven't yet).
