Common Questions and Answers about Enablex and generic

enablex

Avatar f tn DETROL LA should be taken once daily with liquids and swallowed whole. The dose may be lowered to 2 mg daily based on individual response and tolerability. Refer: http://www.rxlist.com/cgi/generic/tolter_ids.
1188179 tn?1350116119 I have been on Ditropan, then Ditropan XR (or EX, don't remember which is correct) and after about 10 years that didn't work, so my doctor put me on Enablex and that works pretty well. Then I got a new Dr. and he wanted to switch me to Vesicare. That didn't work well, either, and I began having episodes of incontinence and urgency again. It's almost open enrollment for Medicare Part D, and the plan that is the most affordable otherwise doesn't cover Enablex at all anymore.
Avatar f tn On celexa, tried oxybutinin and myrbetriq. Gave me anxiety. Is enablex a good choice? Side effect of celexa was frequent urination. Eneblex only one that didn't cause anxiety, but side effects are bad. Anybody?
Avatar f tn I'm not sure how to describe what I'm feeling or even if it's real or imagined from nervousness. My left side only...leg from about knee down, not feet and my left lower arm/hand feels "weird"...mostly at night when I get in bed and lay to watch t.v. I think my left hand feels weird when I'm typing, not fingers. I have no "pain" , numbness, tingling...just a weird, mild feeling. Sometimes a small shakiness.
Avatar n tn I have had several episodes of not being able to make it to the bathroom and have also wet the bed several times. My doctor gave me Enablex and the episodes stopped. I stopped taking Enablex and the bedwetting and not making it to the bathroom happened again. The doctor started me on Vesicore and again the episodes stopped. Have you ever heard of this happening after TUMT? I had the TUMT so that I could stop taking Flomax.
Avatar m tn Well if you were a guy I would say enlarged prostate gland if you had surgery and a lady then I would say you will go and run water and drink plenty of it. If you still cant go you need to go to the emergency room you may have stones blocking there.
Avatar n tn I have had good luck with ice packs and/or hot compresses. I have been diagnosed with interstitial cystitus and irritable bowel characterized by chronic constipation. My gastroenterologist believe this symptom is bowel related...I have never discussed it with my urologist, but as suggested by helstrom I will! corndog, a urologist diagnoses and treats interstitial cystitis. IC is chronic inflammation of the bladder lining.
Avatar f tn he has done urodynamics and also looked into my bladder through scope and said that nothing is wrong with my bladder and urthera,he first gave me vesicare for a month than enablex but condition still remains the same ,then i went to another general phyisican he sent me for x-ray of my lower back, results came out negative.my urlogist told me to go to neurolgist...
1134609 tn?1269272200 I am taking the same dosage I was back in last August and I was completely stable back then. A 300mg drop with the generic would have wrecked me but I have been kosher. The brand name is FAR more potent and it has been drugging me up, more so than the generic version. It is almost a completely different feeling; strange. But I am completely stable. So, I am very optimistic, I realize that the generic version of the medications can cause me problems and that the brand names work much better.
Avatar m tn Estrogen deficiency is the most common cause of incontinence in spayed female dogs, and may result in weakened muscles in the bladder and sphincter causing urine leakage) **** We give our Dobi PROIN, but there's a couple out there. The vet prescribed meds are the only one's I know about, but I just found this one (see below link) and it looks like it's available online and all natural. You may want to put a call into your vet to verify that it's okay to give this to her.
Avatar m tn (about three years ago) I was ok for awhile and, now the severe pain has returned....which meant I had to return to my urologist....He gave me elmiron and vesicare to treat the IC....the Elmiron never helped my pain and, the Vesicare took my blood pressure from 113/72 pulse 68 to 153/103 pulse 122...I contacted my urologist and, he stated...that's not true ... neither of these meds would cause your blood pressure to go up...well, I called him back four days later...
Avatar f tn I have found that any of the brand names and the generic can make arrythmias worse. I have been on generic, Synthroid and Levoxyl at one time or another, and they all cause increased episodes of tachycardia. In my case, I think it's the actual medicine in the pills that causes the tachy, not the fillers. I'm also on a beta blocker to control the tachy. My guess is that it's your increase that has caused the PVCs, not the generic versus Synthroid.
Avatar m tn My doctor did a urinalysis and it came back negative. He put me on Enablex which has yet to help at all (2 wks. ago). I am at my wits end trying to find a solution for what is going on. In addition to the urination problem, I also have tingling in the scrotum and trouble with the head of the penis retracting inward in an uncomfortable manner. Prior to the surgery, I was totally healthy and had no urological issues. I would be very appreciative for any help. I am getting desperate!
Avatar n tn I have frequent PVC's (often with bigeminy) and I also have lots of reflux problems. I have been getting a lot more PVC's the past couple of weeks. I switched from Toprol XL to generic Metoprolol, and I I don't know if that has had any affect. I have also had increased reflux issues during this time. I am getting more PVC's and bigeminy than normal and am noticing it most when I lean forward, especailly while eating. Does this sound like the PVC's are coming from reflux?
Avatar m tn i have bipolar and is thinking about taking a acai berrry pills is it safe with my conditon i take depakote, effexor & enablex
359574 tn?1328360424 I happen to come across your comments as I was searching drugs for overactive bladder. I was taking enabled which I liked. Then I decided after a couple years to see how I did without it and for two years I had no urgency. Then it came back. I finished an unused bottle or enabled, but when I went to refill it, my newer insurance co. said no. So I HAD to try a generic drug, oxybutynin. I'm almost done with one months and it is just drying me out.
Avatar f tn My only suggestion is to check on who the generic mfg is. I had a bad arrhythmic reaction to one brand of generic Zoloft, and it turns out the problem is pretty common. I hate to generalize, but in general, if the mfg is from India (such as Aurobindo), consider getting your generic Zoloft elsewhere. My recommendation is Greenstone, as it's owned by the company that makes the name brand, and I've read that the formulation is identical.
1070570 tn?1283436213 I was up to 125 mcg synthroid, then dropped back to 75 synthroid, then switched to 75 generic levo and added 10 mcg cytomel. That was too much cytomel, so dropped back to 5 mcg cytomel and switched to generic; then up to 88 mcg levo, staying with 5 mcg generic cytomel. Am currently on 100 mcg Tirosint and 5 mcg generic cytomel. I take the Tirosint first thing in the morning, per instructions (my day starts 3:30 am). I take my T3 med about 7-7:30 am.
Avatar f tn I take omeprazole and it works wonderful!! and its generic so not that expensive at all. I used to take protonix and it worked just as well as the omeprazole.. good luck!
1450085 tn?1298941702 The generic klonopin and non generic affect different people in many ways. I wouldn't hesitate to contact your doctor if it continues over the next week or so. Maybe it's the wrong med for you? Good luck!
Avatar n tn The uroligist put me on Enablex which has been working, and I am due to go back in two weeks......yesterday, I started feeling almost swelled up at the opening of the bladder.....I am embaressed to ask, is it possible that my bladder is dropping....it just doesn't feel right, and I don't know if I should just wait for the appointment at the uroligist, or call the gynecoligist?
Avatar n tn Lorazepam and Ativan are the same medication. Ativan is the brand name, Lorazepam is the generic.
Avatar n tn prescribed Clona/epam to replace the Miripex and my muscle relaxer. The first night it did not help so I got up and took one of my leftover Miripex and finally fell asleep. I took it earlier tonight and still have the RLS. I'm at my wits end,,,,please help if you can.
374225 tn?1269899262 There are two types of generic Fentanyl and at least one of you claims that one is superior to the other. Which one is the better of the two? My doctor is probably going to let me try the patches over the methadone and I just want to be sure. It amazes me how much knowledge we all have accumulated and outside of these boards so much of it is wasted. I'm so glad this place exists and I found it.
