are my results 100% conclusive or did i test to early for any of them. hiv test was 3rd generation elisa 1/2 test. does this test for all subtypes of hiv.

Does Home access kit use Elisa? I will ask doctor to do West blot.

My doctor told me that i dont have HIV and also informed me that if i had that i would have died while having Swine flu itself (or it might be serious causing hospitalisation).I hope these results were trustable .I need the you experts to suggest the possiblities that it is HIV!! I was at the OB today and they gave me my regular flu shot. They asked if I wanted the Swine Flu shot, and I freaked out b/c I hadn't decided yet and I was planning to wait until October when it came out to decide. They didn't have it, it turned out, she was just asking, but she gave me a whole bunch of flu info and the Dr.

First, the swine flu is just like the regular flu and is treated just like the regular flu. It has been around for a long time and you may have been exposed to this particular strand in the past. Don't sweat it! If you do end up getting sick, just see your doctor and get better!

Besides I personally think they made more out of the swine flu than necessary. More people die of regular flu strands and pneumonia than the swine flu. Now... being a thyroid patient means you need to supplement well and build your body up. Our bodies don't always absorb nutrients as it should so it is important to supplement.

m sure you might imagine, I have some concerns about catching the Swine flu (or one of the regular flu strains for that matter). I've decided that I may get a Swine flu vaccination... but ONLY if the virus mutates to the point where it is very dangerous (the Spanish flu scenario) and only after the appropriate testing has been done on the vaccination. I just hope it doesn't come down to that.

We took him in to the ER and they confirmed it was flu (doc said it was too early for any other type flu and that it was Swine flu. He said that was what they were seeing). 2 days later we took him back to the ER alarmed because we could not get his temperature down. It got as high as 105 and fluctuated between 102-103 even with giving him the Children's Motrin and Tylenol. They took another chest x-ray and saw a pocket of pneumonia and wanted to admit him.

I know I'll get the regular flu shot and probably the swine flu shot too. The flu can be dangerous in pregnancy. I too plan to talk to my OB next visit. I remember several deaths last year from the swine flu!

t be reliable at all nor would any other test. 3 months dude is when you need to take your test and get a conclusive test result. If you want to do a Home Access test. Then do it at three months send it in and your results will be conclusive.

I already got the Swine Flu Vaccine. My doctor told me that i needed to get it because the risk of getting Swine Flu was higher than the risk of the shot. So many pregnant women have died from the Swine FLu so i got scared and preferred being protected. Hope this helps you make your decision!
