Hi guys, from my previous post of protected sex with a mexican girl I have since taken a Home HIV test, I used the iCare HIV test kit, well two of them and they both came out negative. I was just curious if anybody knew the brand and has heard that it is a good one to use. It says it is 99% accurate and was curious if this is true.

You can trust this test. They call this as SPOT ELISA kit.

t be reliable at all nor would any other test. 3 months dude is when you need to take your test and get a conclusive test result. If you want to do a Home Access test. Then do it at three months send it in and your results will be conclusive.

This may not be the best place to ask this t I wondered if anyone knew this one. When a lab is testing your blood for HIV. Do they use the same Elisa assay kit (tray) to test multiple people at the same time? Or is it 1 kit to 1 person?

Does Home access kit use Elisa? I will ask doctor to do West blot.

Positive for HSV-2, negative for others ( HIV, HSV1, Hepatitis, Syphilis, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea ). The herpes test kit used was HerpeSelect ELISA for HSV-1 and HSV-2. Specifically, the HerpeSelect 1 ELISA result was 0.35 and the HerpeSelect 2 ELISA result was 8.79 I repeated the tests in September 2009. A different provider who also used HerpeSelect ELISA. Just did the test for me so quick and he gave me the kit when the C line showed dark red, and he told me it is negative I put the kit in pocket and then I took the test kit to my car, the kit was wet because of the blood and to dry it I put it under the sun in the care ( it is very sunny in my country) after 1 hour I looked at the kit again and it did show a faint line in the T .

I'm very worried about the fact that I used an unapproved DIY test kit a couple of months back.. Could anyone tell me how accurate an Oraquick oral swab test will be at six weeks? I am well aware that three months is conclusive. I just want to know if a six week test will give me some peace of mind while I wait for three months to pass. Thank you.
