Avatar m tn I saw my ENT doc which is very good and he notices I have redness on my face (cheeks), he recommended me to try Elidel. Today I am using Rozex and it helps and prevent Flares but still there is some redness. I am now 6 weeks post EOT, UND and hope to stay UND. Someone has experience with Elidel ? Can it cause any problem to the liver or to the treatement ?

Upon doing more research about Elidel I found that this was a calcineurin inhibitor clhemically similiar to tachrolimus a drug used for organ transplants rejection therapy. I have been using Elidel topically on a small area of my face for years. My questions are: 1.

Avatar m tn t it matter when treatment is started in relation to how/when it is cured? 2) Is Elidel more effective in treating dermatitis than EpiCeram or other prescription skin barrier creams or not? Would Elidel work to cure dermatitis faster or better than EpiCeram or 'vice versa'? 3) Is Elidel safe to use on the penis skin and how long would I expect it to take to see results? In comparison how long would it likely take for EpiCeram to cure dermatitis on the penis? .
Avatar m tn My question here is that 1) I don’t know if I have skin cancer, because of the over use of elidel. Very recently I also found out that elidel should not be used for more than a month or so, because of the chances of skin cancer. I am using it for more than a year now. I might have used around 50 to 60 times so far. I always have had this anal problem and the scalp problem, from almost ten years now. I don’t know about the other medicines over usage, the doctor never told me.

Avatar n tn Hi, Are you talking about a malignant nodule in the lung? The exposure from the sun will place you at risk for cancers of the skin. While there are cancers of the skin that would have a tendency to metastasize the lung (melanoma), these would usually have a preliminary finding in the skin.
