eczema face washes

I use neutrogena the brown face bar for acne prone skin for years it can be drying just dnt leave the soap on longer than a minute it washes clean and contains no medicine use a good face lotion as well with breakouts apply a cream from cvs or rite aid that contains benzoyl peroxide and apply generously at night or every other its drying then u should start to clear if u have huge cyst like bumps.

We eventually found out that it was a food allergy causing the eczema. Aveeno lotions and washes work great.

Even after i moistuise it , it leaks and looks like little water droplets on my skin? I do not use things like face washes that aggravate my skin , its just really dry.Any advice on what to use or if i should just keep doing what im doing would be appreciated, thanks.

When i got pregnancy acne and eczema my Dr Told me to use baby wash on my face instead of regular soap and that got rid of my acne, tHen she prescribed eucerine cream, its over the counter and helped my eczema in 4 days.

Im currently taking minocycline and been on this for two weeks, bout a week before my face broke out in a rash and its on my upper and lower cheeks sometimes neck. Im demographic, don't understand that yet. My dermatologist said that the rash on my face was allergies?!?!?!? take a claritin or zyrtec. ive been taking claritin and it worked for the first three days and her i am... perioral is gone while im on this anitbiotic and this itcing is driving me insane!! Somebody give me some advice.

About two weeks into this pregnancy I broke out like big time all down my chest and arms my entire face and neck. It gotten a little better with switching face washes and other than my face and neck I'm almost clear but...now it itches like crazy and when I itch it gets worse! Anybody else have itchy acne and how did you treat it?

Yesterday I woke up with a large patch of peeling dry skin on my cheek and a little patch on my other cheek by my mouth. Today my whole face is itchy and when I scratch it it flakes off like dandruff. I havent changed anything like detergent or washes. Now it is red and burns along with the flaking and peeling. I have had fuzz all my life and have faced the fact that I need to shave my face at this age. If I did not shave each day, long hairs would sprout from my throat and chin. Needless to say, when younger I never thought that I would need to shave daily, but such is my reality since about four years ago when menses ceased for good.

Only lasted the first 20 weeks or so. For me I couldnt use any face washes, just unscented bar soap and water. If I used the scrubby face washes it would get worse. All around my mouth started to get really red and flakey. I stopped wearing makeup for a few weeks and that helped alot. It bugged me soo bad too. I am using fragrance free detergent, soap/washes, and deodorant. I have used various Eczema fragrance free moisturizers with no noticeable results. (Currently on Aveno eczema moisturizer). Appreciate the help.

You are very right to say not to scratch. As someone with eczema, I know how true this is, because eczema is known as "the itch that rashes".

I suspected it from using boxers at bedtime which were unwashed for a week or two until some itch occurred and rashes developed on my thighs, lower extremities even at my face and arms. Due to some forceful scratching, some cuts developed on my groin. Sometimes, fluid gets out from it leaving some brownish discolorations on my undies.I've already used antibacterials (tab or topical) but it didn't make it better.

Okay, it does have its similarities to eczema in looks. But why only my face? Usually its on arms and legs. It doesnt get dry like eczema either. I just use a regular bar of soap on my face just like I always have.

My 3yr old daughter developed a itchy blotchy red rash on her hands along with a few little raised red bumps. Then where her arms bends she developed a bumpy red rash. I did see my dermatologist some time ago who attributed it to eczema on the skin near that spot which was making the rest of the skin seem a darker pinker tone causing this spot to seem brighter than it really is. Hello, I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be contact dermatitis or eczema. Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites.
