My doctor wants me to go to the ENT next. I had my annual in April and hiv test was negative...

t see any relief, they do make diflucan in an oral suspension that babies can take. Diflucan is a stronger yeast killer. Good luck and fingers crossed you don't get it because I did and it was sooo painful! The nystatin didn't work for me, I had to get diflucan and I've been on it for like 4 weeks! Still have one more pill to take this week!

I've taken 2 Diflucan tablets one one friday and one on Saturday. Monday i started bleeding my period is not due for another week.

Since then, I have been on ketoconazole 3x, I am currently finishing my 3rd cycle that has lasted nearly 1 month. I have gone through 2x 10day nystatin suspension every 4-6 hours (while on ketoconazole). I started taking acidophillus pills, garlic pills, apple cider vinegar pills, rinsing with organic apple cider vinegar. I take a probiotic mint twice each day after brushing my teeth. I take a vitamin D supliment every 3 days.

I thought maybe it was a yeast infection,but i used nystation oral suspension and took 2 diflucan, one week apart without relief. PLEASE HELP.

Has anyone tried the suspension tables as part of therapy for POTS? I went to a home show yesterday and was feeling very tired and tried hanging from one for about 10 mins and it felt sooo good! I was just wondering if this might be good for us. Thanks.

Also have very chapped lips, with a few white patches on them. I have used diflucan given by my doctor, but has not seemed to make much difference. I also have a strange smell when inhaling that noone seems to notice besides me. Could this be fungal infection without resolve? I have seen my doctor and he doesnt seem to think much of it. Also saw ENT in which he scoped me down to epiglottis and said all was pretty normal. I have had CT of sinus and was negative.

Is it possible that my frequent UTI problem is due to my recent bladder suspension and rectal repair surgery?

I had a bladder suspension 6 years ago and to my knowledge I had no problems up until now.. In the last 3 months I have had 2 severe bladder infections to the point where my blood pressure went super low. this last one put me down for 3 days..sleeping body aches fever etc. I have never been a sickly person so I question if the suspension could be the problem.

I took the Diflucan. Day 5 i got my period. What do i do now?? And can i re-fill my Diflucan to take when i am thru with the antibiotic?? And really no tampons?? at all??

You can either contact your doctor for a diflucan or use and over the counter yeast infection medication. Also tell him if he plays sports or does anything outside that causes perspiration to make sure he keeps the area dry by wearing clothing that's breathable. He may want to use tr hair dryer prior to applying the Lotrimen cream everytime he applies it.

So yesterday I took one dose of diflucan which is an antibiotic when I looked up the interactions it said it has a major reaction with xanax... its been over 12 hours since I took the diflucan... does anyone know if I can start taking my xanax now.

since then i have been to my gyno who cultured my yeast infection and said best medication for it was diflucan, so he also prescribed me to diflucan for 7 days-never went away. then he again prescribed me diflucan 150 once for 3 weeks. never went away!!! this is my first yeast infection so i dont know why diflucan will not cure me. i am 22 years old, smoke and drink on the weekends, work out regularly, work nights, recently pretty stressed.

I have had 6 rounds of diflucan to no avail. My urology dr is at a loss. Should I be seeing an infectious disease dr at this point? When I take diflucan I feel better quickly. I know that you cant take diflucan (fluconazole ~generic for diflucan) but I was wondering if there was anything else. m currently treating a vaginal yeast infection and was wondering what your experiences were with Diflucan? How long does a typical yeast infection last? The itching and burning have subsided, and I took my first diflucan pill Sunday (doc gave me 4). I'm also using Vagisil for itching and irritated skin! Thanks!

I took an std test for chlamydia and gonnorea and they both came back negative but the doctor gave diflucan thinking it might be a yeast infection. It worked for about a week and then the burning came back. The doctor then gave me doxycycline( 10 days 2 pills easch day) and said that this should work. question ladies...i took my diflucan pill on monday, but i wanted to know is a white discharge a side effect of the pill? i have taking diflucan multiple times before, but i never bothered those times to actually look and see what was going on down there. this time i did and it seems like a white discharge is coming out...someone told me that was the yeast mixing w/the medicine coming out. is that true?

I'm 16 weeks and I'm suffering from a horrible yeast infection. I took 7 days of terazol and 3 days of monistat. Neither helped. Creams usually don't on me. Diflucan is the only thing that works but my dr. said he doesn't prescribe it during pregnancy. I'm so sick of it. I'm miserable. Has anyone ever taken diflucan when they were pregnant? Hi...candida is yeast and it can cause all types of issues...DIFLUCAN is one of the best meds I know to help rid someone of excess yeast. There r also diet changes that can also help..... I am prone to yeast infections when taking antibiotics, and DIFLUCAN is the only thing that helps. As far as dosage, sorry I can not help...I would suggest asking a Pharmacist as they know meds and interaction and reactions better then most drs.

I have a yeast infection I am almost 6weeks pregnant and I took diflucan for the infection will this harm my baby

I thought I was having a yeast infection and took diflucan 10 days ago which majorly lessened symptoms. The symptoms never went away fully so my doc called in another diflucan today. I decided to take a look with a magnifying mirror and saw what looked to possibly be a few very small lesions just under the clitoris they are not painful to the touch and look exactly the same as they did ten days ago.

I have had intense vaginal itching for a couple of weeks now. I went to my gyno and she said I definitely had a yeast infection and gave me 2 Diflucan. I've taken both, and I STILL have this intense itch. It doesn't last all day, but comes in bouts and it's driving me crazy! There's no odor, and I'm guessing some slight discharge, but I'm not understanding why the Diflucan wouldn't help.

After that the doctor checked me out as fine but gave me diflucan. It worked only a little, and here I am 6 months later, and 4 diflucan pills later, its constantly in my underwear making me feel wet all the time, its so uncomfortable and embarressing, I just want help :((((( please soomeone! I've tried everything from cotton underwear to loose clothing to no sex, I just want to have sex and not be scared that I'm "too wet" and its showing up on his privates or the bed sheets.
